Located near the "clock tower", this place has plenty of food to offer. However, we went for the steamboat since it was chilly.A lot of people ordered steamboat, but it is not because it is delicious, but because it warms the stomach. Priced at RM39 for 2 person, they have:1) 2 bowls of rice/vermicelli rice(bee hoon) pre-cooked for you2) A platter of steamboat ingredients in a big round tupperware. They contain 4 medium-sized prawns, 4 fishballs, some chicken chunks, squid and carrot slides and brocolli3) Soup for steamboat which can be Tom Yam, Beef broth or mixed (one half each)The food is mediocre, Tom Yam tasted more like Tomato soup. I kinda like the beed broth although it is the usual ones found in eateries in KL. Otherwise the portion is just adequate. In the cold chilly weather, you can't go wrong with steamboat even if it doesn't taste fantastic. Hot soup would do just fine.
The restaurant has been running in Fraser's Hill since 1981. Our business hours is from 12pm to 10pm daily. We only serve ala carte, an array of local Asian, a few grilled items such steaks, lamb chop etc
A trip to Fraser cannot complete without a meal at Arzed, and this time round we tried some of the new dishes instead of our favourite Nasi Goreng. Both the Ayam Penyet and the Chicken Chop Dried Chilli were excellent! But before you dive in for the chicken chop, beware that it is not the usual chicken chop that you may expect. It is more like the chinese stir fry chicken with dried chilli szechuan style! Spicy but not overly hot and goes very well with the plain white rice.Arzed is one of those places that you would not get tired of eating day in day out!

It is next to the Fraser's Hill's mosque
The food was excellent, whether it was the pre-prepared Malay dishes with white rice or the freshly fried "nasi goreng" (fried rice) or "mee goreng" (fried nooodles). THe ambience was pleasant and the roofing was surprisingly cool despite it being low and the sun was out in full force. But when the wind blows, it is very cooling. Lunch starts very early and so does tea so it was perfect for us. It overlooks a beautiful garden. next to Hemmant Trail

The Tea House Restaurant and Café has that old colonial style ambience and look to it. We picked this place for lunch as we were told it had spectacular views, and it sure did. We lunch on a terrace overlooking the mountains and jungle, the views were magnificent. The food was actually good to very good, my brother had Fish and Chips which was excellent and seriously large, I had Thai food which was authentic with a side plate of potato wedges which was also very good. The food was seriously good value for money, and that is without taking into account the view !! Service was both efficient and friendly. The facility also has a Strawberry Farm, and a large Car Park. Highly recommended for lunch.
