Ordered a kashmiri pulao and were charged 525/- for it... very overpriced and regular Indian food. Please check price before ordering and also ask them for a description. Better local places around with non fancy names for 90% less cost and equally good quality food.

Cafe Log Inn on the main road adjacent to Pahalgam hotel with local decor & memorabilia for coffee, eateries & conversation serves variety of cakes, pastries, muffins, pizza, pasta, cheese etc to go along with array of coffee, flavored teas & kashmiri kehwa. A must visit while you are in Pahalgam!
By seeing the interior looks like a rustic hill station cafe.
But the food and service does not match up to what it looks like.
This place is just good for coffee and cookies, which are really nice.
We ordered pizza momos Chinese salad all of which were very average. Not worth going

Cafe Troutbeat on main road adjacent to Pahalgam hotel for impressive array of Rainbow/ Brown trout & veg combo meals. Authentic recipes with fresh river water trout from local river Lidder & variety of veg combo meals for the vegetarians.
If trouts are their USP then they should be made to perfection.
We ordered 2 different dishes of trout and both were deep fried with too much of oil floating aroundand of average taste. The chef didnt seem to care.Asked for garlic bread with it and looked and tasted nothing close to it.

The finest multi-cuisine restaurant of Pahalgam. Also offering authentic Kashmiri Wazwan Preparations.
We had chicken curry and dal fry. Presentation was sub standard and taste was okayish. Ambience was ok. We went in off season, so may be the crew was asleep and not in the mood to serve.

Pahalgam has no dearth of vegetarian restaurants but Dana pani tops the list of the most popular ones
Food options were largely north indian, but fresh and wholesome..we thankfully carried a parcel of aloo paratha that came in handy the next day when we could not step out of our lodgings cos of bad weather
this is conveniently located at a short walking distance from the main market

Had lunch once and dinner here during our Pahalgam trip on 12th & 13th May 2017.This restaurant located nearer to Main Market area of Pahalgam, near Taxi stand No.2. Food quality is good. Tried South Indian Varieties also. Price of food is high. You have to select the food & pay first. Good fast service.

"Stone-age" underground Lounge, made in local river boulders and kashmiri decor with rustic setting and open fire place called Bhukari, serves wide range of coffee, flavored teas, kashmiri kehwa with small eateries and finger food from its live kitchen. We also serve in the garden in front of the lounge, overlooking beautiful Pahalgam valley views with backdrop of snow clad Mountains and river.
Stone age lounge at Pahalgam hotel is a rustic underground lounge with loads of character and elegance. We were offered complimentary hi tea with yummy finger snacks. We loved the stone fire place and cane chairs with tables made of old Kashmir Windows. What makes this place stand out is its wrath and cozyness.
