Just stopped by for drinks. Lovely location overlooking the beach, the drinks were significantly cheaper than our hotel, The Bedruthan. We sat outside in the sunshine in what appears to be a recently refurbished garden area. We didn't eat but the food coming out look lovely.

Nice Village Pub with separate restaurant
Dropped in as our parents were staying in St Issey, was seated without booking but realised booking would of been a good idea!!! Menu was good, beer was better, but the puddings were very pricey for what was served very small spotted dick, should have bought another beer!!! Otherwise everyone was full and happy...

The Travellers Rest is a beautiful Cornish village pub nestled between Mawgan Porth and Watergate Bay beaches, just a mile away from Newquay Airport. This pub is ideally located to relax and unwind as you take in the sights of the North Cornwall coast. Da
We had 2 meals here whilst on holiday and on both occasions the food was really tasty, served quickly, looked a great dish and all the staff attentive and friendly - everyone with dogs (and there were a few) was made most welcome. Really felt this was a pub to pass on a recommendation to others if down this way.

Stayed for a few days. Our room (Ketch) was lovely. Well appointed, tastefully decorated and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and of great quality and the staff could not have been more friendly. Located right in the heart of Padstow, itâs a delightful place we would stay at again when we visit this area

I made this pub my destination and turning point when walking (along the SWCP as it happens) from Padstow on a bright sunny day whilst my wife attended a cooking course in the town. I decided against the food as nothing appealed to my vegetarian taste and just made do with a pleasant pint of Skinners ale before starting the walk back to Padstow. Not overly special, but SWCP walkers may appreciate it for a short break as options are limited on this part of the Path.

Welcome to The Mariners Public House. We want this to be a place full of warmth and happy memories, with food that aims to put a smile on your face and drinks to put a spring in your step. We are so thrilled to be the next chapter of this much-loved insti
We stayed nearby for 9 days so visited several times. The service is impeccable from all staff. Special thanks to Dennis. Food is of very high quality including the Sunday Lunch. Fish and chips is amazing. My only criticism would be the menu is somewhat limited but that is often, as here, a sign of high quality.

The Cornish Arms in St. Merryn, offers a simple British pub menu, with dishes like real beef burgers, mussels and chips and scampi in the basket. Expect some of St Austell Brewery's best ales and a great selection of wines. In summer, sit outside in fresh
Because there were seven of us we were able to book a table. Drinks order was taken promptly and drinks served to the right people without prompting. One of our group requires lactose free and the manager was really helpful, going through the allergen booklet with her. We ordered several different mains - cod curry, fish and chips and Vietnamese salad. My only comment was that the curry portion and the salad were a little on the small size, but the food was delicious. Four of us ordered the Mexican rice pudding which was nice, but again small portion and not piping hot. The corner of the restaurant where we were seated was not particularly warm, and two of our group took to wearing their coats - it should not be difficult to regulate the heating.Overall, lovely, helpful staff and great food, and we will undoubtedly return next year.

We stayed at a B&B in Padstow recently and were recommended to eat here by our landlady. Always ready to take local advice we opted for the fish pie which was wonderful - big chunks of fish and really tasty. Very helpful staff and a very pleasant atmosphere - highly recommended.
