This place has been on our wish list for long already. If you like the tirol atmosphere and you're in for a change of restaurant, this may very well be your place. We were seated at one of the big tables directly on the right when you come in, so we didn't see any of the tirol dancing or "vreetschuur" atmosphere I see others complain about. Would actually have been fun to see it, but as we had two kids with us, it's probably better to sit where we were seated.Staff is very friendly. Food was okay. Nothing too special but the ribs and 4 meats menu had some good quality meat for sure. The ribs could have been made a little more tasty by adding some extra sauce. The big portion or ribs (750 grams) is of good size and should even satisfy a big eater (like me). They don't charge extra for ordering extra fries. Prices are reasonable.There's nothing for kids there. Nothing inside and nothing outside. Also beware it's situated directly at a through street. So if you're with kids and you want to ensure they've got a good time as well, it is probably better to go somewhere else. If you're without kids, this is a nice place to go to.Will go here again some day.

We went there with a party of four. Itâs the old city hall, with nice details and even the old gaol!The food was very nice and delicate. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, albeit that the service was very slow (the whole meal took us 3 hours) and forgetful (they forgot one of the dishes). I think the fault lies more with the kitchen than with the staff. The wines were ok, small wine list.All in all a nice local restaurant!So+ : surroundings and food- : length of service and uncomfortably noisy

El Gaucho offers excellent food for reasonable prices. The ambience is a bit sterile. This is compensated by a very hospitable and friendly staff. The steaks are well prepared with nice fresh fries.

Went with a group of 12Unimpressed by menu options Ordered baked brie, and then a chicken ramen Brie was fine - but ok - it's hard to make breaded hot cheese NOT be delicious.But man, ramen was flavorless, terrible, no interesting ingredients . Ugh. Really bad My friends weren't impressed with their dishes either - so, take note, go somewhere else!

Op vrijdagavond gereserveerd in Eetcafe Plexat, slechts 3 tafeltjes bezet, waardoor het niet echt gezellig oogt. Er waren 4 erg jonge serveersters aanwezig, welke bijzonder druk met elkaar in gesprek waren en heel weinig interesse voor de klanten hadden, bedienen was een soort van bijzaak geworden.Na wat brood met smeersels, het gerecht Laurel & Hardy (biefstukje en een stukje varkensoester) en een zigeuner schnitzel besteld. Bij de Laurel & Hardy werd ongevraagd een stukje kip geserveerd, omdat de varkensoester wat klein was uitgevallen.De zigeunersaus bij de schnitzel kwam linea recta uit een Remiapot. Wij hebben het hier maar bij gelaten om zo snel mogelijk weg te zijn. Na 2 vingerhoedjes wijn, snel afgerekend en vertrokken.Kortom, voor ons geen 2e bezoek.
