Atmospheric seats inside with an unexpectedly big garden terrace in the back. The cooked mussels (seasonal) and coque au vin were excellent, other dishes were good. A nice small selection of desserts and plenty of options to drink.Service was friendly and helpful, but there wasn't really enough staff for the crowds that were there at the weekend, and waiting times were quite long.

We really enjoyed our dinner in the beautiful city center of Zwolle. We went for the chef's menu that is a very good value for the quality (a la carte is indeed more expensive): amazing presentation, original courses and tasty food. The service was attentive, the decor nice even though the movie of the fireplace is a bit much! www.bestregardsfromfar.wordpress.com

Waanders is a large bookshop plus a sizeable brasserie impressively built into the monumental former Broeren church. The church dates back to 1465 and was used for catholic, protestant and Jewish worshipping. It was closed in 1983 and repurposed in 2013. The brasserie serves excellent lunch food with pleasant service in this unique setting.

The restaurant is located in a former blacksmith. You will see the chefs in a open kitchen, prepare contemporary dishes of beautiful and fresh products. We offer you very varied dishes on French cuisine. You can dine à la carte and there are also various
Amazing reataurant, friendly employees. Nice atmosphere: warm and cozy. The interior decoration is very nice and authentic. As for the food:The brie soup is very tasty and makes you feel perfectly warm when very cold outside. The steak i had is also Perfectly cooked and beautifully served. The bread they serve is also tasty. The only thing i did not like much are the olives served with the bread, they are a bit sweet. Cheese cake is really good. Before leaving they offered us some minted lozenges that are also nice. I would definitely come back when in Zwolle

We had a late lunch in this restaurant close to the station. The decoration is beautiful and the staff very professional. We took a 3 courses menu. Choice was difficult as everything looked really delicious. We took the pulled turkey, the duck breast and the cheesecake. All dishes was really well presented and delicious. We took âil copertoâ which includes water, bread and olives. Very good selection of wine. We really enjoyed our meal and found the quality price really excellent. I definitely recommend this place and weâll go back as soon as possible!

Too many waiters who act if they are the client. They are telling "their story" instead of listening or feeling what the customer needs. Food: good fish but old school preparation. Too much butter, too greavy, so to heavy. Wine advise: story talking no interaction with the guest. The waiters think they have knowledge and under- estimate the guest.

Visited the Pestengasthuys for the umpteenth time - and as usual we were not disappointed. Chef Paul Stegeman worked his usual wonders and everything was fine. The standard of cooking is very close to the Librije here, and that at a fraction of the price. Still not a cheap restaurant of course. The ambiance is great, too, in this medieval former hospice with its high ceilings and stained glass windows. Great! Don't forget to make a reservation!

Everything matches their Michelin three star rating. Service is superb. Also the price matches. Naturally it is expensive, but it is worth it. I was introduced to an outstanding wine I did not know. A sommelier even offered to drive me back to the station, but it was a nice walk.
Heeeerlijk gegeten! Zowel de varkenshaas met mozzarella tomatensaus als de mixed grill waren erg goed bereid. De tomatensoep was erg romig en zacht. Een aanrader!

Soul Sisters is one of a kind in Hattem and their shop is worth a visit. It includes a variety of somewhat 'alternative' jewelry, artwork, home accessories, etc, made by a variety of artists. Ideal for gift shopping. The cafe downstairs is also worth checking out. All-in-all this is a breath of fresh air in between all the more 'traditional' Hattem shops and cafes.Thank you so much Peter! It was a real pleasure to meet you three. We hope to see you again at Soul Sisters. With kind regards,Alice en Marilyn
