Stopped in with wife and daughter for a couple of beers before dinner. Had my first delirium tremens beer which was pretty good. did not find the bartenders (we sat at the bar) to be particularly helpful or friendly. did not try the food so i can't comment on that. was an okay place for a drink as the atmosphere and decor was relaxed and casual

If you don't want to eat all inclusive, you can make a reservation yo this restaurant. Is a quiet atmosphere, and the food is good and fresh. The prices are not so high. The waiters are very young, that's why the service wasn't at a level 4-5 stars, but it wasn't disliked.

Nice setting and location, pretty good food, but the overall experience is a bit let down by the service. Half of our order for starters was forgotten. The replacement starter was luke-warm. When we asked for a second glass of the red wine we were having, the last tiny bit of the bottle contents were emptied into the glass. Instead of bringing a new bottle and a new glass, the glass was taken back to the kitchen area and brought back filled. What happened to first tasting whether the new bottle was ok? Where was the cork? Was the glass indeed emptied first as claimed by the serving staff? The experience could have been much better.

Great for celiacs needing gluten-free. There were allergy symbols on the Dutch menu. Happy to adapt dishes where possible. Well informed about cross-contamination with, for example, frites. Delicious food. Delightful terrace on a quiet square. Friendly welcome.

My friend treated me to a meal here. I had Irish stew. It was lovely, but only a very small portion was served. My friend ordered Shepherd's Pie but she wasn't convinced that it really was Shepherd's Pie with minced lamb. She thought it tasted more like Cottage Pie with minced beef. The atmosphere was lovely here and no one tried to rush us with our meals. So I will return one day.

The quality of food is good and the service nice and warm as well. However it seems that the food took quite a while as my steak took more than half an hour to arrive after order.

This is an impressive looking restaurant with excellent decor. Service was good to begin with. A very friendly waitress greeted me and took my order. I ordered a starter, the ribeye for main course and a glass of house wine. The food was well presented and very tasty. The house wine was quite good. The restaurant had been busy when I arrived, but those tables soon emptied and I was the only customer left. The waitress who originally served me had long since gone and the remaining staff didn't seem to notice my presence. I didn't want to order a dessert, but did fancy a coffee and some brandy. The staff were much more concerned with clearing up and getting ready to leave. It was nearly impossible to get their attention to order the drinks. I then had to wait equally long for the bill. It was a disappointing end to an otherwise good meal.Top tip to restaurant staff. If you are keen to finish up early and get home, be attentive to the last few customers. Ignoring them simply prolongs things. The customer is unhappy and it will take longer to clear their table.
