From the moment you arrive, everyone will go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Relaxed and elegant atmosphere. Exquisite Gewurztraminer. Extraordinary concoctions. Black truffle dishes incorporated into the 5-course menu we had selected. Open kitchen. Extremely friendly and attentive staff. Chef Hardiquest: you gave us a memorable experience today. Thank you!

Delightful surroundings where refined architecture and world flavours are united in perfect harmony. During the summer months, the restaurant opens its two terraces, which are equipped with comfortable teak furniture and giant parasols covered in ecru-coloured canvas.
We had diner in Genval Les Bains during a stay in Chateau du Lac. Staff is friendly. Most of them speak Dutch, which was convenient considering our limited French knowledge. Service is good, allthough it sometimes seems a bit chaotic. Tables are sufficiently far from eachother to have enough privacy. In summertime it could be interesting to reserve a window table to have a nice view of the lake. In our case it was dark already.
The food was very good, with a good price - quality balance.
Overall had a lovely evening, and would not hesitate to go back again.

A perfect family lunch for seven. Innovative and delicious menu, preceded by a superb gin & tonic or two (the local GemBlue gin recommended). Polite, courteous and multilingual service (English, French and Spanish). More enjoyable than several of the fêted Michelin-starred restaurants in Brussels.

The food is ok - average greek cuisine but the service management is typically Belgian not Greek. After drinking cokes the kids asked for tap water and ice - which was refused... so we have refused to revisit this place again.

The menu is large, the outdoor Terrace is fun, the indoor eating area is still like the brasserie it was 40 years ago (high wooden side benches, original simple tables, wooden chairs, no TVs, no distractions. Nice free parking. Connected to the Hotel Soret which also serves breakfast there. Closed on Wed/Thu when the adjacent (older) Restaurant de la Foret is open. The kitchen is open all afternoon and closes quite late (10pm) so it really serves as a last pit stop for those traveling back from Namur and the Ardennes before hitting Brussels. The food is quite variable (but, funnily is always low in salt for some reason) but given the extent of the menu, there is something for every person's taste.

This is all you expect from an Italian pizza place. Simple interior with a few small tables, a chef/owner who handles everything in different languages. He makes pizzas while taking orders on the phone and serving customers. He is always cheerful and friendly. And the pizzas? Delicious!

We have been a few times now and have not been disappointed. Good, individual curries (they don't all taste or look the same) and the chef will spice it up and add extra heat if you like. Love the garlic naans. The chicken pakora and prawn puri for starters were some of the best we have had and we eat a lot of curry.
