Whilst staying at La Pomme d'Or Hotel, my family and I decided to dine one evening in the front 'bar' area of this lovely hotel. The weather was excellent, and we enjoyed some pre-diner drinks outside and then moved inside to eat. We had the set menu which was about 38 Euros for 3 courses, each of which was delicious! I started with the soup followed by steak, everything was well presented and cooked to perfection. The chocolate dessert was bliss. I don't know the overall price as it was a treat for me, but no one complained about the bill! I would certainly eat here again! The service was excellent and the staff friendly and were patient with non Flemish speaking diners!

Pleasant brasserie. Nice varied selection of steaks, salads, pasta and dishes of the day. Good selection of local beers.

As the title says. Nothing luxury. A nice "kaffee" feeling where you feel at home. The food is good and goes back to standard dishes. Can be pretty crowdy (and noisy) during peak hours.

A fine bistro - restaurant at some footsteps from the railway station at Oudenaarde. Lot of choises from fine salads to a -course menu. Also snacks for the little ones.

Super pizza, super delicious and cozy restaurant. The dough is soft and tasty like a Neapolitan pizza! Staff is friendly! I'll come back soon

One of the few restaurants in Oudenaarde that's open on a Monday!
Good pizza and pasta options. Nice decor and surprisingly large once you're inside. We got there early and got a table straight away and by the time we left they were queuing out the door so it is probably worth booking a table.
Starters and desserts were a bit expensive but mains and drinks were reasonable. 2 mains with 2 drinks each came in at €38.

This is one of the most innovative restaurants in the area. So, it is different. Probably that is the reason why people don't frequent it as much as they should do. Food is great and very delicious. You choose the same plates for the whole table and you share. Restaurant is turned into a cozy talking lounge late in the evening which allows you to stay a bit longer than you normally do. Service is great. Just go and experience

Eerlijke Frans-Belgische keuken, lunch op wo-, do-, vrij- en zaterdagmiddag. Vaste kaart met wisselende seizoensgebonden suggesties. Reservatie gewenst.
We had lunch in this restaurant and sat outside in the garden area at the rear.
I ordered a mixed seafood salad and my partner ordered salmon. The salmon arrived but inexplicably an enormous burger arrived instead of the seafood salad. After a brief period of resistance it was changed.
We got over this dodgy start and enjoyed the excellent food.
We may try again when next in this town.

Had a takeaway then went back two nights later for a sit-in. Food is excellent. Not sure about the opening times but when it's open it's great!

Well received and so polite, we settled down outside .
We chose meat dishes , well cooked and well outlined.
Excellent choice of beers , now available also on tap .
Only one thing : be careful when you order mineral water : a liter costs as three beers ( but what is also found in other places )
