We travelled for the Mountain Kitchen lunch - wow, what a spectacular treat. From the super professional helicopter flight and commentary to the the stunning service and food. Minaret, you are total class in a low key way but where every need is catered for. We didn't want to leave - thank you for the spectacular treat and being everything and more than we could have anticipated.

Nine of us stayed after a day at Glendhu Bike Park. Big spacious kitchen and dinning room. Two heat pumps and an open fire. Heaters in bedrooms if needed, beds so good to sleep on. Plenty of utensils in kitchen area. Wine glasses average. Heaps of parking and great out door area including tennis court. Two big fridges, two ovens , heaps of bench space and plenty of tables and chairs to sit and eat. Located close to town ( 10-15 min walk) and Lake. Good flow of water from showers. Lodge lovely and clean This is our 3-4th time we have stayed here, will always come back. Well worth trying the experience.

Lovely hosts. We had a terrific room and impressive cleanliness. Only a short walk to the main part of Ranfurly. Certainly hope to visit again and experience Ranfurly in the summer. We didn’t do it but the Lodge is very close to the rail trail for those interested.

Excellent accommodation. Super staff. Delicious food. Dinner prepared by a young chef who brought in the ingredients and prepared a delicious meal while we chatted with fellow guestd. Recommended as a must stay if visiting this part of NZ. Private patios and beautiful gardens just 2 of the many bonuses.

Welcome to Earnslaw Lodge in the picturesque Queenstown. Conveniently located only 950m from Queenstown's vibrant city centre and only 100m from lake Wakatipu. Come and enjoy the spacious and warm studio and apartment style rooms with most offering dramatic views of the lake and Remarkable's mountain range.
The place seems a little run down and the walls were very thin. Bed was comfortable and the view from the balcony was amazing. There were only 3-4 off-street parks and this was awkward for our tour van with its luggage trailer. The road is very busy but rooms were at the back so noise wasn't too bad. It was great to be able to choose our own breakfast items from the buffet instead of having preselected items delivered to the room.

Teschemakers Resort is set on 70 acres in beautiful North Otago. Steeped in history. Teschemakers has served as a Catholic boarding school for girls and a conference and retreat centre for healing, prayer, contemplation, study and reflection.
Firstly the buildings and surrounds were beautiful, the room we stayed in was big, warm and modern. However, the restaurant has been closed for a long time apparently, so I phoned ahead to ask what cooking facilities would be there. I was told just a microwave so I should bring my own “finger food”. When we arrived I saw there was actually a hot plate, microwave and and a bench top /cooker oven in our room/ but no pots/pans to enable cooking. Our email confirmation from the hotel said that because the restaurant was closed, a continental breakfast would be available- when I asked about this I was told no it wasn’t. The friendly Asian lady that checked us in and provided this information - also checked in an Asian family directly opposite our room. It was surprising to see they had been delivered a meal - as a plate with a lid on was outside their room in the evening. I wouldn’t stay again, I would choose somewhere closer to the town, with food options for my family.

At Alcala we pride ourselves in offering our guests a welcoming stay and real value for money. Our classic Spanish architecture offers something a little unique in Dunedin, and we are well situated near the University, Otago Museum, Public Hospital and Botanical Gardens. There is a service station, 24hr convenience store, pharmacy and restaurant all within 1 minute's walk from the motel.
We always stay here when visiting Dunedin. The owner is always very pleasant, helpful and respectful. The room is always very clean with a big comfy bed. Very generous with the amount of extras that come with the room, for example, extra pillows, 3 heaters and plenty of tea, coffee and cookies. Always a very pleasant and comfortable stay at a reasonable price.

Situated in Dunedin, 8 km from Toitu Otago Settlers Museum, Superior Dunedin Apartments boasts a barbecue and terrace. Forsyth Barr Stadium is 10 km from the property. Free WiFi is provided and free private parking is available on site. All double glazed units have a flat-screen TV. Most offer a private kitchenette, fitted with a microwave, toaster, fridge and kettle. Towels and bed linen are offered.
We stayed here while on a South Island biking trip. It was totally contactless. Contact and payment by phone and online payment. It was the best price of all our South Island accomodation, it was at the end of a cul de sac , private, modern, clean and a veranda which allowed us to park bikes undercover. Would be stay here again. You bet.
