Two parts to this review: the hotel and the restaurant. The hotel is location is central, and the ambience charming. The receptionist welcomed us warmly. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel is also steps away from a launderette if you need one. The bathtub felt a bit unsafe (this is the only time I've every written this). The surface was very slippery and needed something to increase the friction. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was because of the restaurant. The hotel touts it as a special gastronomical experience. I received a text the day before our arrival telling us that we should make a reservation, or we would miss this experience. Sadly, making a reservation wasn't worth the effort. The menu looked interesting enough. Our first course of quail pate with pepper jam was delicious. Things went downhill with our mains. I had crispy squid with pepper jam and zucchini that arrived cold, except for the zucchini. My husband's pork cheeks were also cold. We sent the plates back to the kitchen. The food was tepid this time (and cold zucchini). It was a crushing disappointment. Our server was extremely pleasant and tried to be helpful. He comped us for the dessert we ordered. The hotel should close its restaurant until they have someone who is up to the task of managing the kitchen properly. Please stop advertising as a Michelin-starred restaurant. It sets expectations high, and rightly so.

An impressive facade gives onto a central patio with columns, surrounded by spacious galleries styled in a combination of wood panelling and handcrafted bricks where an XVIII Century chapel can be found. The building as a whole is decorated with period furniture (XVIII Century) with special importance being attached to two valuable baroque mirrors of exceptional beauty and paintings, bronzes and sculptures from the beginning of the Century. This 4 Stars Hotel is the result of several alterations throughout different epoques, all of which have contributed to its current outstanding presence in the centre of Osuna.
My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel. We had room 7 which features the ornate balcony above the entrance. The room itself is large and spacious and has a comfortable bed. The downside was that the decoration in the bedroom seemed very tired. Equally the bathroom was very dated and in serious need of updating. The building itself is beautiful and with some updating could be stunning.

Perfect emplacement surrounded by Collegiate and Monastery which is seen lit up at night from the wonderful terrace and pool area. Staff attentive and helpful. Restaurant on terrace closed due to Covid. Be aware that the tranquility of the place will not be the same when it reopens. Beds super comfortable and rooms very clean. Some refurbishing need to be done but adds to the historic feeling of the place. I completely recommend this place. There is a local bar in front that has a rooftop for sunsets and a very good restaurant 200m down the road.

Hotel El Molino is located in the historic town of Osuna, located between the Campiña and Sierra Sur regions of Seville. Its privileged location in a quiet area with excellent local transport links makes it an excellent base to explore other points of interest in the region. Osuna is just over an hour from the famous cities of Seville, Malaga and Cordoba. The mill was originally a mill and this small and cozy hotel retains much of the charm of past years, while offering the best facilities for your holiday enjoyment. You can relax in our pool. El Molino is a simple and charming typical Andalusian hotel that has 16 comfortable double rooms, some with balcony or terrace and others with exterior window. Larger family rooms are also available.
Returned home today after a 4 night stay here. Very happy to recommend. Booked at 10am and the room was available within a couple of hours. Nice, clean, bright and cheerful room overlooking the swimming pool. Unable to get a double but the twin beds were very comfortable. Clean and spacious bathroom. Had a number of very good meals in the bar / restaurant next door. Very quiet location on the edge of town but an easy and lovely walk into the town centre. We used as a base to visit Córdoba ( about an hour) Granada ( 2 hours ) Ronda ( 1 hour ) and Sevilla ( an hour and a bit ! ) Fantastic countryside! Probably better in the summer as we found the room a bit cold ( tiled floors and a struggling heater ) In summer it would be fab !

Stayed here for one night in Dec 2016. Parking in garage next door if required, costs 5 EUR extra. Some staff speak English, some do not. Man who checked us in showed us up to room. Room reasonable size, twin beds reasonably comfortable. Room cold. Had difficulties getting heater working. Made a lot of noise so could not have on all night. Woke cold during night. Bathroom also cold, had no heating. No ventilation, only window. TV on desk on one side of room, had to sit sideways on bed to watch. Wifi did not work in room, had to go to end of corridor. - Passageways v ornate, fountain in middle. Breakfast basic - hot drink of choice and warm roll with butter and jam. Was v nice bread but some might require more choice. Smelt of smoke in reception/breakfast area. Reasonable value for one overnight stop. Would stay elsewhere if returning to the area.

We had a clean modern room which was very spacious with nice tile floors and good A/C. The breakfast was basic but good - buns, chorizo, ham, cheese and fruit. The staff was friendly, but they didn't speak English. We found it to be a very good place to stay in Osuna.

Our room was small but comfortable, if rather dark. We were welcomed warmly and soon had our car parked in the yard behind the hostal. We never did manage to find out when the restaurant was open but there were plenty of places to eat close by. The town centre was within easy walking distance and had a few fine buildings. It is a town that gets on with life and does not overly concentrate on tourism. It is surrounded by beautiful countryside largely covered in olive groves. We would go back.
