We selected this restaurant based on TA reviews. Once again we were not steered wrong by the TA community. Restaurant Lychan is a local Motala neighborhood restaurant. The staff seemed surprised to see foreigners enter their establishment; however once we were in they made effort to accommodate our lack of Swedish. Most surprising was the food. For an 'ordinary' tavern (with an interesting decor) the food was really, really good. The Schnitzel was fantastic. If you are in Motala for a few days, this would be a worth while option. Enjoy.
We asked for gluten free options and they proposed to take whipped cream off the cake... But they serve wine. Somehow this tiny and odd place fits in Medevi Well, in positive meaning. During summer time. Traditional brass band is performing outside every evening from June to August and they play very traditional music. Easy to listen when sipping some wine.
