This is a reasonably good BBQ joint.
It's reasonably priced and the meat is excellent.
There are few side choices; fries are the best of them all.
One small problem is their sauce. It's a really runny vinegar-based stuff...
NOT my favorite. I used their A1 on the pork steak and worked out great.
Extremely relaxed atmosphere.
Every extremely relaxed service/staff... don't be in a rush.

Well, it isn't a big town, and there aren't a lot of choices but, that being said, Mi Pueblo still does an excellent job of making good food at good prices. We were in town for a class reunion and stopped by.
My wife and I had both forgot that they do not have a liquor license so no Tequila ( I took away one point for that). They said that problem would be solved soon. If do, it would be a 5-dot ( they aren't stars, so what do you call them) restaurant

If you are tired of fast food, BBQ or buffets then this is your kind of restaurant.
Currently it's the best food in Mississippi county.
It's three minutes off of I-55 with only one traffic light to wait out.
Food is traditional blue plate specials up to some rather refreshing entrées.
Check out the Chicken Salad plate with fruit.
I've been three times this month and haven't been disappointed yet.
Ok, I take that back.
Their hours take some getting used to; call in advance as they
aren't normal restaurant hours.
Love & Peace to all who gather here.

We were on a road trip and looking for some internal refuelling. At something other than a roadside chain. The Bowles BBQ was very local. Very basic and simple.
Waitress was friendly and helpful and service was great. Pretty decent pulled pork and sides. Bathroom was clean.
But there were at least two tables of smokers, smoking full time. I've not experienced this in the last few years in other states or countries. I'm so used to fresh air it just sort of spoils your meal. Plus one table seemed to house one of the workers/owners puffing full time. Yuck.
I wanted to like the place better but that put a pall on it. Still beats the roadside chain joints though.

fun and tasty for lunch. free coffee. locals meet here to chat. Set up to support museum. Lots of information for travelers. non-profit and everyone is volunteer. Sandwich and soup only... no complex meals. very affordable. $4-6 per person.

Although it's called hot wing and things, the things are too good. Try the burgers and cheese fries. You will not be dissappointed. Also makes a helluva good fish plate.

I was driving through bad weather and needed to eat. Stopped in for lunch and the waitress was very nice. The place was pretty dirty, but I believe they had a rush earlier from the highway issues. They had started sweeping and cleaning up while I was eating. I thought my lunch was pretty good (different kind of Philly sandwhich) and my shake to go hit the spot. Price was very reasonable. Overall I was pleased with my meal.

I don't think I'm a pointy-headed food snob, and I am a local, but this is awful food (lunch buffet).
Burned, whipped, fake potatoes, dry fried chicken, wilted lettuce in the salad bowl.
There are other local plate lunch places; don't subject your taste buds to such torture.

This is a pretty decent Pizza Hut, as they go.
If you like their food, it's just like you've eaten everywhere else.
The night we were there they were hosting a child's birthday party
and it was really rowdy. I wouldn't have ever complained...
KIDS NEED THEIR FUN.. and wouldn't have dared throw water
on their fun....
but when we got settled in I heard the manager tell the mother of
the party they had to reign it in some, since others were in the building.
How nice!
I thought about giving the kid a gift... but that might have been creepy!! LOL
So, thanks Pizza Hut... you deserve to get ON THE MAP with my friends
at TripAdvisor, the best place to help fill your entertainment desires... wherever you are.

This place has a buffet everyday. Sometimes the pizza is cold. They do bring out fresh pizza's. Place needs a upgrade. But not a bad place to eat especially with kids.
