Reviewed By wtoebben76I will stay at Baymont anytime, staff and rooms were wonderful! Pool was nice! Hot tub wasn’t working that was the only thing we didn’t like! Pool didn’t open till 10am but staff opened it early so my daughter could swim before we left!

Whole place needs better care all around!! Price was decent, but cleanliness is important to us! Beds were terrible - like a hammock and close to the floor!

Worst place I’ve ever seen
Reviewed By JamesGr1974The first room they put is in wreaked of urine, figured out the smell was coming from the sofa. They moved us to a new room and while it didn’t smell like urine, it wasn’t any better (see the pics). The staff was friendly and apologized. We chose to move hotels. I understand some places may be “outdated” but this was filthy and there is no excuse for the condition of either room. It was dirty, the furniture was literally falling apart, the bathroom fixtures were spray painted, the bedding was stained, the mattress was probably 20 years old. I could go on and on.

Disappointing
Reviewed By Tony BOne of 7 hotels booked for a 12 day road trip. Regrettably by far the worst hotel of the lot, the published rating suggests the hotel is far better than the reality Hallways where dirty and in need of decoration, although an attempt had been made at refurbing the bedrooms, the curtains were filthy and the laminate floor was uneven and sticky. Breakfast was poor with very little choice left at 8.00am

Reviewed By mahawk61When I booked this room, I was told it was 2 rooms. It was the family room. It was one and a half rooms. It was dirty, a non smoking room but had cigarette packs on the floor. The guest shampoo was half used, one trash can. I told them there was 6 of us. We had 3 towels, 2 wash clothes and one hand towel. The t.v. in the half room didn't work, you couldn't adjust the thermostat. There was a confusion about the bill, we was charged $44 after we left, I called, she said it was for the 2 pets we had. I was already charged $20 when I checked in. When I got upset because she wasn't making it clear why the charge, she hung up on me. I will never stay here again, The halls smelt like Marijuana and there was people walking up and down the halls all hour of the day. It looks nice on the outside, but looks are very deceiving. It advertise breakfast and vending machines, not true.

Kids have a pool complete with waterfalls and a creek of their own to play in. The heated indoor pool area and large hot tub is open all year. So, sunny and warm or snowy and cold, there are always fun things to do. Motel guest rooms have one king or two queens. Larger one room suites, two room suites and special occasion suites with whirlpool tubs are available and designed just right for that deserved and much needed getaway. Quail's Nest is open all year and presents an affordable family rate for the Lake's visitors and also corporate rates for repeat commercial and business travelers. Meeting and Conference Rooms are perfect for smaller groups and reunions. You can walk to a variety of restaurants and fast food, movie theaters, and shopping. The 110 store famous Osage Beach Premium Outlets mall is next door, well within walking distance. In fact, there is a private sidewalk from Quail's Nest to the outlet mall so a car really isn't necessary. The Osage Beach Premium Outlets is closed only two days each year. That means planning a shopping trip is possible for you any time, any season of the year.

Clean and affordable
Reviewed By Camie CWe booked a room for the night after reading reviews about how clean this hotel was. We basically just needed a place to sleep and shower and it was perfect. I knew this hotel was older because I had been to the Lake of the Ozarks since I was a kid, but the mattress was very comfortable, clean sheets and new carpet and a clean bathroom. Very glad we gave them a chance.

Tan-Tar-A What HappenTo You!?
Reviewed By JMillion1963Stayed at Tan-Tar-A Estates 3br. I thought i rented a home but it was 3 separate living quarters in one structure with no access to lake. Glad my kids are adults otherwise we would have checked out. Property is outdated, has cheap sagging flooring, full of webs (external), and not freshly cleaned. There was a hole/dent in one bedroom wall. The estate grounds are unattractive and not kept up with trash removal. Property not ideal for someone unable to climb or descend stairs. Some staff friendly but many were not. We will not return. Not totally bad but definitely not worth the price (August 2021).
