Really gorgeous and relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Rooms are rustic and lovely and close to everything from restaurants and cliffs where you watch the sun set in the ocean. The inner yard is lovely for a glass of wine - bring your own but the hostess happily supplies you with glasses.

Since I had a long stay for working, I could live in the former flat of the owner. For me as a German it was a little as living as "Michael from Löneberga" of Astrid Lindgren. That old building is restored with heart. Everything during that stay was very easy and uncomplicated. Coming back from work in the evening was almost as coming home. Hello Jenifer, thanks for the good time there. Hope to come back.

Welcome to Strandhotellet in Oregrund, the gem of Roslagen. The view of the sea is unique and a sunset in the ocean on the east coast is also unique. Strandhotellet is located in the middle of town, close to shops, restaurants, marina and rocks for a swim.
My bf and I was initially excited from its pictures and didn’t read any reviews. Well, let me tell you: FRONT DESK: nobody at the reception! There was a girl passing by and write something at the reception book and left, she didn’t even smile or look at us. We waited 15mins to be attended. ROOM: very casual with cheap deco. BATHROOM: NO soap, toilet flush is retard and shower water is like old men pissing. POOL: No lifeguard not service and no vibe, DO NOT LET THE PICTURES FOOL YOU! STAFF: very unhappy, none greets! And the restaurant waitress couldn’t even tell me where the toilet is in English. BREAKFAST: worst breakfast that we have had in any hotels. If you r vegetarian, all you gonna eat will be a slice of tomato + dried cucumber! And eggs were COLD???? Since when people eat cold eggs?? I don’t eat bacon or sausage but I see other guests complaining about the non existence items!! Conclusion: if you want to experience a Russian style low class motel, you will be very happy with your stay here!

We stayed at the Epokgarden for a family wedding. We have a big family and the hotel managed to accommodate all of us and were very helpful during the booking process. It's quite a quirky location; it's basically a set of self-catering apartments all centred around a courtyard. It's quite basic but the facilities are clean and tidy and the staff (especially Mia) are very friendly and helpful. It's also a good price! There isn't a huge choice of accomodation in Oregrund so for a few families travelling together this is a good option. Plus, everything in Oregrund is within walking distance (including the nearby supermarket).

This is a small hotel with a feeling of "comming home". The hotel is surrounded by a big nice garden.
The hotel kept sending fraudulent bills months after my booking, as well as unpleasant emails despite efforts to clear / clarify. I would advice to avoid this place to save yourself potential harassment.

We spent a lovely quiet weekend in this charming and comfortable old home in this pleasant small old fishing villag/summer retreat area, which we easily (and inexpensively) reached by regional bus from Uppsala. A very interesting retired couple--heirs to the home from the original owners--were exceptional hosts. Although the weather was blustery much of the weekend, we felt coay even while looking out the window over the then choppy waters in the inlet of the Baltic that lies right in front of the house, thanks to the wood fire in the vintage tile oven in the sitting room that the owner kept burning and the hot beverages and homemade cookies we could serve ourselves at any time. The bed in our doublebed room was very comfortable and area sufficiently spacious, with the seating area outside the bedroom (and near the hall bath) also a plus. We really enjoyed the water-front hike around the "point" nearby that Per recommended and the homegrown garden produce and cookies that Ann made and served. We highly recommend staying here, also for longer than we did (2 days).

We spent a night there during midsommer. The rooms was very nice and clean, really nice beds, the toilet was shared and it was clean also. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The offered breakfast was also nice including variety of ham and cheese, cereal and also fresh homemade bread. The location not in the center but you can reach by 15 minutes of walking. If you have a car it is way easier. We had a nice experience spentint some time there!
