This little place is unlike any place I've ever eaten. Wendy, the owner, cook, waitress, hostess and probably dishwasher, has put so much care into creating such a unique dining experience. The place is divided into color schemes and filled with antiques and collectibles to delight the eye wherever you look. The food is simple, but good--the desserts are delicious!! This would be a great place for a ladies' day out or a tea party with your daughter.

We ate here recently and were blown away at the food quality and service we got from a small place. This used to be a restaurant by another name that left and perhaps, came back. The fish and fries were done very nicely. The sauces tasted great and seemed made from scratch. The staff graciously let us in even though we showed up about 15 minutes before closing. We sill definitely be back! Thanks for stopping in and so glad you enjoyed your food and experience.

Welcome to the Gathering Place Buffet. Explore a mouth-watering array of Asian, Italian, Mexican, Mediterranean and classic American dishes. Did someone say seafood? Jackpot! Fill-up on crab legs, oysters and more on seafood night, every Friday in the Gat
We've been to the seafood buffet several times but only in the winter. When we tried it in the early Summer, it didn't seem quite as good. This time, we went to the Chinese buffet and I can't see where it's any better than the regular buffet for the extra money. CADreamin, thank you for leaving a 4-star review.

This is a great place to stop if you are traveling like we were and they had standard American diner food on the menu. Breakfast was available all day. I had a bbq bacon cheeseburger with French fries which was a good choice. The fries were crisp and freshly cooked. The burger arrived hot and also freshly cooked with crisp bacon as I requested. The service was good and this seemed to be a great local hangout and meeting place for the locals with hearty meals. There was a variety of options to choose from and not just burgers and fries or breakfast items. They even had an open faced turkey sandwich, salads, and I think I recall seeing chicken fried steak on the menu too. I didn't think of this as traditional northwest Oregon food, but I am a southerner so I couldn't really say what Oregon is known for except for salmon, Tillamook cheese, or berries. If I didn't know better this could have easily been in the Midwest or southern USA. We enjoyed our meals although this isn't anything fancy, it was good, hot, and fresh. The tables stayed full throughout our visit. It is a well loved place, you can tell by the number of locals that were congregating there. We were just lucky to have found it in our search for mom and pop diners and non chain restaurant fare. I'd dine here again. The little town was quaint and very vintage. I almost felt like I had stepped back in time. We did walk around after and browsed several antique shops and an amazing bead store. I don't have anything else to compare it to as far as Canyonville's other dining choices, but we liked it and we would return should we find ourselves in the area ever again. It was easy to get to and on and off the highway without any hassle. There was no traffic in this sleepy little town making navigation and finding this so simple. Manage your expectations and realize this isn't big city dining, but instead this is homey and comfortable.

Much improved with more staff working even on a Tue. We tried the Taco Tue. for lunch. Three crispy tacos for $1.99...can't beat it. Choice for chicken, cubed or ground beef. I tried the chicken and husband had the beef. Nice little condiment station with different salsas, lettuce, sour creme. guacamole, tomatoes, jalapenos, cheese.. the works.Later we went back for dinner. Shared the Grilled Cobb Sandwich with fries. Large sandwich will grilled chicken breast with bacon, blue cheese and avocado...really good and enough for the two of us.Mogcambomama, thank you for taking the time to leave a review, it is appreciated. The $1.99 tacos are a customer favorite; I am pleased you had the opportunity to enjoy them. We look forward to your next visit.

Cow Creek Restaurant Sit down with the family for breakfast, lunch and dinner at Cow Creek Restaurant. Cow Creek serves American cuisine in the heart of our casino. For breakfast, think Belgian waffles served with warm syrup, challah French toast prepared
I have eaten at the Cow Creek Restaurant twice in the last couple of months. I have found the menu to have a good selection with really nice prices. I have eaten their Cobb Salad on the Lunch menu, which was huge and delicious. I have also had their 3 cheese fresh ravioli on their dinner menu and thought the same. Service was always friendly and welcoming. I would return again.Thank you for the wonderful review, 279ericai! We are so grateful for your support and we hope to see you again soon!

My husband and I recently dined at K-Bar and found the service to be seriously lacking. I had called in advance and made reservations. They asked on the phone if we were celebrating anything special and I told them yes our anniversary. We arrived for our reservation on time to find the host station empty for quite awhile. When the host finally arrived he said they were setting our table and it would be a couple of minutes. 20 minutes later, we finally are seated. We sat at our table for another 15 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. The waiter was rushed and I had to ask if there were any dinner specials. My husband requested extra salad dressing which never arrived. When we were done with our entrees our waiter came directly with the check without even asking if we wanted dessert. It was a very frustrating experience. If you ask if someone is celebrating a special occasion you should acknowledge it. K-Bar wants to be a high end restaurant (menu prices are on the high end) but their service is lacking and the lack of any kind of dress code is off-putting. If I spend that kind of money on a dining experience I don't want to look at tank tops, cut off shorts, or swim trunks. Jennifer, thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I am sorry your wait time was longer than expected, and you were presented with the check before you had an opportunity to sample desert. Please reach out to us at [email protected]; we would appreciate the opportunity to follow up with you. Thank you.

We travel I-5 regularly and Kens is always a welcome break. Great burgers, Gyros, fries and some of the best onion rings we've tasted! They open at 11:00. Fast friendly staff and very clean kitchen!
