Was staying with a friend in Florence and we decided to try this restaurant for the first time. Simple decor with both booths and picnic tables to sit at. Great variety in their menu with very reasonable prices for the amount of food they served. Good service. I ordered a chicken burrito and it filled my plate. Lots fo filling, including meat, peppers, lettuce, salsa , beans. Served with sour creme and guacamole. Did not have to order extras because it was a complete meal. The flavors were all there. This is a simple restaurant with two cooks and a server but boy do they do a good job. You can come here for lunch or dinner. We were just two guys and if we had more time would have ordered drinks but one of us had to drive. Looked over to the next table and they had Margaritas and they came in big glasses. Looking back, I wished I would have had one but did not want to drink when my friend could not because he had to drive. Next time I am in the area I will make this the first place I stop.

I like to find little restaurants with authentic food but Mexican food is hard because us gringos want certain things that aren't authentic. Like, burritos. But these guys make amazing burritos and even get awards for them. I had Chili Relenos and they were good, not great but decent. They have great sauces. I want to go back and try some other things. The prices were low. We travel to Florence several times a year so I'll go back.

My first experience was a business lunch. Since then I always go to Los Compadres for lunch when I have the urge for Mexican. From the outside I thought it was just a âto goâ type of establishment. However, they have a quaint seating area and if the weather is nice space outside. I personally enjoy the tacos and tamales. You wonât be disappointed.

Another wonderful meal and friendly welcoming service. It has been several years since I was last there and all was as good as last visit. Over looking the bay with an outside table in the sunshine for lunch. I enjoyed the chicken /spinach enchiladas and my sister the mushrooms/spinach enchiladas both with an IPA. Excellent. Highly recommend this location. Hope you will also enjoy. Busy location...
