This was a terrifically, sunny and perfect day for sitting outside. Mcmenamins High street had plenty of outside seating and was surprisingly slow for a Saturday afternoon and perfect for this occaison. Ordered various dishes and drinks once seated. They have some very thoughtful salad selections and the tots are always great. Josh was fantastic and extremely helpful to a group with a fussy child. Thanks for the delicious meal.

First of all, we love the food at Provisions. The food is well-prepared and interesting. We also like the lively atmosphere of a food market. Their bread and pastries are homemade and worth a few calories. But you really have to pay attention, or you may not get your full order. Or you will receive your coffee long after you have finished your breakfast. The problem seems to be with the multiple places to order. There is a place to order coffee, baked goods, and ice cream. There is also a place to order lunch. And they overlap. While we keep coming back for the great food, we are frustrated by the lack of follow-through from the serving staff. Only yesterday we ordered breakfast and three rolls. After everyone in our party was served, it was apparent we were short a roll. I went to the coffee counter, and asked about the roll, and they had completely forgotten it. This has happened to us many times. Months ago, I spoke to the manager about it, but he did not seem to care. If Provisions could develop a better way to keep track of their orders, it would be just about perfect.

Bakery and cafe serving the Eugene Community since 1989. Located in the Whiteaker neighborhood on Blair Blvd, we use local sources of foods from the Willamette Valley. We offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner all day and a wide range of fresh baked goods mad
Funky, relaxed, and comfortable dining in the Whiteaker neighborhood. 2 of us went for brunch and sat inside. There is also a patio (for when the weather's nice). I chose the 3-egg omelet; there is a long list of ingredients from which you can choose 4. Comes with fresh, home-made whole wheat bread, and I ordered a side of diced potatoes. I do believe it was one of the best omelets I've ever eaten anywhere. My friend had a California burger that looked and smelled great. He, however, said it was only OK. I'll definitely visit again.

The two of us had breakfast and found the service and food to be very good. My SO had a breakfast salad (which is a really creative menu item). She raved about it for the next couple of days...... I had the Chicken Fried Steak and it was OK. Being from Texas, I had a very different idea about this dish. The sausage gravy was a bit on the thin side for my personal tastes. It was very crowded but we were served quickly after we turned our orders in. All in all a great salad but if you are familiar with chicken fried steak try something else.

Perhaps you remember Mama's Homefried Truck Stop back in the day? This place reminds me of that restaurant. Home cooking, with tons of vegan options, and very filling. It's like your mother cooking up breakfast on a weekend. That is, if you had a mother who did such things, which regretfully, I didn't. But that's for another time. The clientelle and the personnel are all friendly. You get lots of attention, and lots of flavorful food. But, it gets busy, so if you're serious about eating here, come during the week or early because it's a small space and it fills up fast.

The previous morning, the line was so long, we couldn't wait and choose another eatery. So, the next day, no line! YAY. You'd think. The place was rather run down, and sticky, like a greasy spoon, but we thought it must just add to the charm. Wrong again. The food was so-so and service slow-slow. Must have been a bad day.
