We have zoomed past Baker City, OR a number of times in our travels and had never stopped...we were hungry and didn't want to cook in our RV. Wife went on line and found this place. It was Monday midday...parking along the street was good for our truck camper RV rig. The server approached with a smile and greeting and told us the soup of the day was French onion...before she could say anything else I ordered two. She left menus and placed the order. by the time she came with the soup we were ready to order. We ordered pizza, two different ones. It was not long and they arrived hot and perfectly cooked. There was one problem...there wasn't enuf...it was because I was hungry...I did take a few slices with me so it probably was enuf...maybe that is my way of saying it was good. And i am not normally a pizza guy it just sounded good that day.I met the chef responsible for the soup which turns out to be made fresh each day. The place is clean, tables and seating comfortable and bathrooms well maintained. The cooks are busy and say hello if you look in the kitchen. We will be back as I do need to fill in my punch card for pizza!

After checking into the hotel, we stopped in here to have a couple of drinks and spend a few dollars playing the Oregon lottery slot machines. They were fun and didn't "eat my money" in 5 minutes. Bar tender was prompt and friendly.

We happened to stop here for lunch and it was quite an experience. It was like an old time saloon, which we had not expected when we saw it from the outside. The lady who served us was very friendly! We both had a hamburger with fries and they were very good!! This place beats the modern places!

The best prime rib I've had in ages, and the smashed potatoes and carrots almondine! Delish :) My husband had buttermilk fried chicken and it was the best he has ever had!

Cute place. Friendly service. Best burger and grilled chicken sandwich weâve had. Salad was fresh and good. Sweet potato fries and sauce were some of the best weâve had. The only downside was they were out of the lobster manicotti. Good local drinks too.
