In keeping with the theme of our trip to Wallowa County, our meal here disappointed. The salsa was great, but that was the only good thing here. I ordered the Enchiladas Blancas, and they weren't even that. They were covered in some bland orange sauce. I overheard a waitress tell another table that "yes, the order did come out fast - we have a new cook, and she is really fast." That's not necessarily a good thing. I would have happily sat there another five or ten minutes waiting for my food if it meant it was going to be good. I get the impression this is just another scoop it out of the pot and throw it in the oven kind of Mexican restaurant. We also never got to find out how much the margaritas were, as the price wasn't on the menu or on the bill, but they definitely weren't cheap.

The artwork on the outside and inside of the restaurant is worth a trip. The Margaritas are great (but aren't they always?). We found the food to be just so-so. The food wasn't bad but there was nothing to rave about. Stop here if you MUST have a Mexican meal.

I had the tongue tacos. The meat was so completely stewed that it looked like someone had already chewed it. The rest of the presentation was uninspired and ordinary. The Chile verde burrito was somewhat better, but nothing special. Competent, but uninspired.
