Restaurant featuring Tapas, Craft Cocktails & Wines Inspired by Excellence From Spain And Southern Oregon
This review is a revisit of one of our favorites. We have gone to Ostras many times, but our two July visits were lacking. The dishes were still great, but the portion size has been reduced, making the tapas very expensive. Also the service was awful. Lots of staff in training with little supervision. We left a little disappointed. Still the best in Ashland, but not nearly as good.Hello Neil, thank you for your feedback! We aim to provide the very best experience possible and will look into portion sizes and service standards! Thank you for your continued patronage!
Where to eat Spanish food in Ashland: The Best Restaurants and Bars
Fast food, healthy and numerous options. We had a chicken rice bowl and a gyro sandwich. Both were good. Beet salad was disappointing.
The owner is often on site, and this very neighborly, authentic Greek restaurant also sells a nice supply of condiments for Greek and Middle Eastern cooking. We were passing through Ashland and had a recommendation from a local to pick up lunches to eat outside at Lithia park - without the recommendation, we would have missed the place altogether as it sort of blends into the roadside commercial buildings, but it is a great local stop and definitely recommended. Ambience comes from the staff - good conversation and some Turkish TV for a cultural experience. We had gyros sandwich, Greek salad, and great custom made iced tea. All tasty. The side of felafel was a bit overcooked. Definitely will go back here when we're in Ashland again.
