Visiting the area we'd heard about this place from friends and decided to try it. I ended up getting chicken parm with a side of seasoned vegetables. The main dish was good, the chicken coming with a nice breaded crust and covered with tomato sauce with a little zestiness to it. The veggies, which are extra, were nicely cooked over the fire without being overly-burnt, allowing the various flavors to come through.

Growing up in the German part of Milwaukee, we would always shop at Usingerâs for their excellent sausages. Many years later, and near another Milwaukee, I have found Ottoâs â excellent, high quality sausages. Iâve tried at least 10 varieties and have enjoyed them immensely. My favorite right now is the Bockwurst â reminds me of the Weisswurst that I have enjoyed in Bavaria.

Best sausages ever! And I know my sausages. The reuben sandwich was perfection:a nice amount of meat, but not excessive, good cheese, excellent bread and cheese. The cole slaw was also just right: not too sweet not too sour. The meat case is filled with the most delectable meaty treats of sausages, wursts, head cheese, and on and on. The cheese counter is also amazing!Delicious!
