Following an art show up the street, we walked to this little place in downtown Hillsboro. On a Tuesday night, it was practically empty by 7 pm and fully empty by 8:45 pm. The decor is funky-interesting, and outdoor dining is also possible depending on the weather. The menu is full of interesting sandwiches and lighter fare, and their appetizer menu has at least 10 different offerings--all of which could just about be a meal! Their specialty is Hungarian Mushroom Soup, made fresh daily and available in mildly spicy and then much spicier versions--really delicious. The mushroom content was adequate but a bit limited for my taste. Others with us enjoyed their housemade hummus (quite garlicky), the fig and brie appetizer, and the layered tomato and goat cheese appetizer loaded with roasted garlic, balsamic vinegar, and olive oil (all good). They even offer a selection of desserts from Papa Haydn's, a Portland favorite! Service was very friendly, just a tad slow, but there was one waitress with diners outside and a very long walk from the kitchen to the outside. All in all, a very pleasant and delicious experience!

One of my favorite places for wings and you do have quite few options and the best part is you get new stuff time and again and the lunch specials menus are totally awesome.

This was a pretty decent Korean restaurant. I am not a huge fan of Korean food, but I thought most things were pretty tasty. We ate off the lunch special menu, but they did also offer a BBQ on each table and you could order a large variety of options and BBQ those on your own table. It looked like the center of the table would allow for a BBQ rack to plug into it. I saw a few others eating that way, grilling small items yourself one at a time. If I go back, I would try out the BBQ option. It looked fun.
