Friends rave about Chenâs. I donât know why. The food was average. Staff was really friendly. We went with friends after church. My wife had Chinese curry. I had Kung Pao chicken. The food was a little bland. Needs a little more love, and heat. Service was good and fast. Prices are good. I will give it another try sometime.
Where to eat Chinese food in Dallas: The Best Restaurants and Bars
Traditional Chinese-American food well prepared and fresh. I take my father there when I visit-always yummy food for him to take home for lunch the next day. The owners are wonderful hosts! Dad always has a combo. I prefer a variety of the individual dishes...
First off the place is clean. Diane truly is wonderful as our hostess and waitress. Seats comfortable. Beer cold. So why the 2 dot rating? My wife and I both ordered dinners of chicken and pork. The breading is so heavy I couldnât taste or tell exactly what I was eating. My pork could have been gizzards and I wouldnât have been able to tell the difference. My wifeâs was no better. I would lean towards a noodle dish if we ever go back. Could be a 5 dot rating but I couldnât taste the food...just the very thick crispy breading.
