Jake's Famous Crawfish features a variety of fresh fish and seafood flown in daily, making a true Pacific Northwest statement using fresh Northwest products and served in a traditional and timeless presentation.
This restaurant does what it says on the tin. An old style restaurant with a great atmosphere, good service and great food. What more can you ask? We had a lunch time drink at the bar and then returned for dinner which was all just great. I discovered post visit that it is part of McCormick and Schmicks which they do well not to advertise in my book as we decided to never visit any of their restaurants again after the rudest service ever at their restaurants.

We celebrated our 21st anniversary with a fantastic dinner and matching view at Portland City Grill. The appetizers were phenomenalâwe could only narrow it to three choices, which we shared. Our entrees were great as well, and we left MORE than satisfied! Even better, though, were the views of Mount Hood from full wall 30th floor windows AND the friendly, attentive service from the staff. Weâd definitely return to Portland City Grill.

Fusing a distinct Northwest and classic Scottish Pub feel, this Pearl District destination has become a convivial gathering spot of beer and food lovers since its 2008 opening. The brew pub's 26 taps feature Deschutes mainstays plus a selection of seasona
I try not to visit the same place more than once in a new city - but I really liked this place that I went for happy hour on my first day and lunch on my second day. The service BOTH days was amazing! The beer (tried different brews both times) was great. I highly recommend the pretzel with beer cheese / mustard - simply the best. Had the green goodness salad the next day with avocado - also good. This place was great.

In the past I have only been here for dinner today we tried the observatory for lunch and I was not surprised to discover that they deliver as well at lunchtime as they do in the evening!! We sat outside on the Stark Street When you sit outside you definitely get to experience the local residents. We are locals so would love that part of it. To us it added a beautiful element to our dining experience. My absolute favorite drink in the world is the Cumin Centipede (CC] !! The CC is delicate balance of spicy, tart with the hint of sweetness. I had the chicken bacon salad and my friend had the Apple Beet salad. Both salads have beautiful presentations and are quite yummy. The entire salads have very generous portions! The restaurant is huge and each offers a fabulous dining experience. The restaurant in the back called Over and Out and has more of a bar feel including a pool table.

On Hayden Island, thereâs something wonderful besides bridges and boats floating in the water: the Island Cafe. Our vibrant decor and lively team will quickly transport you from Portland to paradise. And our open dining room overlooks the marina and is fi
We stopped by this restaurant for dinner on our way into Portland. It is on an island and the restaurant is floating on a dock. There was a wait but they had seating for those who were waiting and it was a great place to enjoy the fresh air after a long drive. We enjoyed watching the geese and ducks swimming around the marina and the boats coming and going.Once we were seated our waitress was prompt and friendly. She answered our questions about menu items and did a great job of making sure we had everything we needed. Our family of four ordered a variety of items including a Hawaiian burger, fish and chips, fish tacos, and a lobster roll. All items were fresh and delicious. The portions were plentiful. We also took a couple slices of key lime pie to our hotel to eat later. The waitress had packaged everything in containers so the whipped cream and limes would not melt on the way. Definitely recommend! We couldn't be happier that you and the family were able to enjoy a little bit of everything off our menu! When you're traveling, sometimes the best moments are enjoying the simple moments by the water, watching the geese go by as you enjoy a great meal with those you love. We were more than happy to answer all your questions and make sure you got exactly what you were craving. If you ever find yourselves in Portland again, we'd love to have you back for another memorable meal with the family. Take care, Island Cafe Team

Ate here twice during my stay. Had the tuna one night and chicken the other. First - atmosphere is great. Service was outstanding. But the tuna was overcooked so was very dry though the sides were excellent. Chicken was served on top of a pea mousse ... chicken was hot, but the mousse was bone cold .. must have come straight from fridge and plated without heating. In a push I would come again simply for the location when staying at the hotel and the service was so good.Hello,I'm delighted to hear you enjoyed your service, but sad to hear you did not enjoy the food. The items you mentioned make it sound like you visited us in early summer. We have since changed chefs and menus. We are very proud of the quality of our food and hope you will join us again to give Chef Jake's food a shot next time you are in Portland. Thank you for your feedback!Sincerely,Briana

Jackrabbit combines the creative approach of Chef Chris Cosentino's craftsmanship with the grit, flavor, and character that makes Portland one of the country's premier dining and lifestyle destinations.
My fiancé and I are staying at the Duniway for our wedding and I came down to the restaurant early on the day-of to finish my vows and Michael took amazing care of me. I was obviously a little on edge but she was relaxed and accommodating and honestly helped me feel more at ease about what I was going to be doing later that day! Oh, and on top of the amazing service the food was great and the place had a good chill vibe. Thanks all for making my wedding day start off on a great note!

Tucked away inside the Hotel deLuxe is this quaint little spot. We stopped in last night for their later happy hour. There were five of us in the group. Our waiter actually recommended that we spread out and take up another table, so we'd have plenty of space for food and drinks. Happy Hour menu features sharable dishes and some price breaks on drinks. The Panini was so-so, but the Wedge Salad really hit the spot! Also I was quite fond of the Portland 85 drink. The atmosphere is hip, but understated. It's a dark little corner with a very Portland vibe. The tunes really brought it all together.

A Tuesday night at 5:45 we were able to go directly upstairs to the main library where the good books are . If you have any interest at all in whiskey, this is an experience not to be missed. The ambiance alone is worth the effort. Massive selection and bar staff that are able to explain and make suggestions. They bring your chosen selection on a cart and pour in front of you. We enjoyed having a personalized flight of bourbons to try. There are average priced selections as well as some astoundingly pricey options for the aficionados of the world. So glad we took the time to stop by. Itâs an experience.
