Reviews on Asian food in Portland, Oregon, United States. You’ll wonder why you don’t live in Portland after you’ve visited this laid-back and friendly city. With a reputation for manicured parks, eclectic nightlife, fine micro-breweries and distilleries, and nature that cuts right into the city, Portland’s a Pacific Northwest must-visit. Don’t miss the famous Japanese Garden, one of the largest and most beautiful of its kind outside of Japan.

Departure is out of this world delicious. Every menu item is filled with flavor, a curated culinary experience. The beverages are just as good, refreshing and unique. What stood out the most to me is the service. Jennifer was so hospitable, enthusiastic about the menu, and communicative. She took great care of our table. Also, Iâm not vegan, but the vegan menu is incredible. The best Iâve seen and tasted.Departure is a must. Just go there.

Quick service, lightning fast food delivery. You choose your level of spice and I appreciate that! Quaint dining room with outdoor porch seating available. Homemade noodles were delicious. Orders are large enough to share. Two of us could not finish our order. Price is very good!

We tried various dishes from appetizers to entrees and found that the best item was the hamburger! It's delicious, fresh and tasty. Also, we were overcharged over 100 dollars for the whole meal. So, needless to say, we won't be back, if we're in-town again.Hello,Thank you for the feedback and your comments. Please reach out to us as we would like to get more details on your overcharged meal. We would definitely want to correct our error. Kindly directly reach out to us at [email protected] hope we connect soon.R

Is there a rating for 20 levels below terrible ? If so, Iâll give Bollywood theatre that rating. It was a big mistake to eat here. The ambiance was interesting and unique but that was to distract the customers from the food. The food was easily the worst Indian food I have ever had. I hope people will read my review before deciding to go there. The Dahi papdi chaat lacked flavor ... not even close to the real deal. Over fried puris with chopped potatoes , tomatoes and some chutney and a little bit of curd served cold. This is served to you by people who know nothing about the dish and you are charged $8 for this apology of a dish. The Kati roll ( wrongly pronounced Katy roll by the people serving it) was worse - they make a paratha and put some onion , chutney, curd and paneer in it and wrap it up. No taste at all. The gobi manchrian had deep overfried cauliflower with tomato ketchup in it. It was even hard to bite. Stale and not fresh at all.I saw a lot of gullible Indian families there. They were all complaining. As another reviewer mentioned , this may pass off as an exotic hangout for college kids who had never had Indian food before, but it is absolutely disgusting and fake food.

Ataula is a small and quaint dining establishment with a strong nod toward true Spanish cuisine. It can be crowded and they don't take reservations for less than six, so plan accordingly. You can wait at a small bar where you might be able to order food as well. Tempting as the paella options were, we opted for tapas and dessert as we had been to Barcelona fairly recently. Lots of interesting options available, all well done, and in serving sizes just right. We ordered four complementary styles and were delighted with each. Think small plates. You won't be disappointed. Service staff was very helpful and fast, efficient. We'll be back, and next time I'll try some paella.

Thai Comfort Food
We reserved, but if not you have to put your name on a list upon arrival. This place bubbles over in energy and movement serving delicious large portioned plates of tasty dishes. Just be aware that they may bring your main dish before appetizer. All the food arrives at different times......one person gets nothing and the other gets all their order at the same time. For me it takes away the pleasure of each dish, feels rushed. But otherwise a good Portland address.

We celebrated our 21st anniversary with a fantastic dinner and matching view at Portland City Grill. The appetizers were phenomenalâwe could only narrow it to three choices, which we shared. Our entrees were great as well, and we left MORE than satisfied! Even better, though, were the views of Mount Hood from full wall 30th floor windows AND the friendly, attentive service from the staff. Weâd definitely return to Portland City Grill.

Sat at the bar and enjoyed chatting with bartender and friendly foodie patron. I had a couple delicious entrees, but my bar-mate had a chef's choice selection of a dozen or more dishes. Everything looked great; he ate with pleasure and gusto, and I had food envy! Go, have a chef's choice meal and explore the flavors. EnjoyBen, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review! I am glad to hear you had such an enjoyable experience with us! We appreciate your feedback and hope to see you again soon!

We loved this restaurant! The food was spectacular; the service was professional and almost personal; and all at a very reasonable price. Our waiter was extremely knowledgeable and helpful and really added to the experience. The fact that it is family-owned is quite apparent and itâs as if they are inviting you into their home. But the biggest hit was the food; we shared the Ossobuco and La Gricia, which is pasta in a bacon and cream sauce. Excellent! We had 1/2 bottle of the Sangiovese, which was very reasonably priced. We could have been in Italy for the evening; it was just perfect!!
