This place is a great place for a bento box lunch. I thought that there were many options. I had the basic teriyaki chicken bento box and every bit of it was good. I think I might have licked the plate.Plus, the service was quick and friendly. The place is small, but ample for the lunch crowd. It's nice and bright. I thought their prices were reasonable and I didn't go away hungry.I would go again. Plus, I notice they do a good take-out business as well.

Had dinner this evening. Wonderful food--a vegetarian Thai soup and a guest had a lime Thai soup. Summer rolls were an excellent appetizer. Food was served promptly, hot and delicious. Menu is varied with several different curries. Many options for protein and vegan options. The cafe was busy and service was very good although bringing the sale ticket mid-dinner makes one feel like they are rushing you out the door. Parking is very limited as the restaurant is located adjacent to campus. Prices are reasonable. If you enjoy Thai food, this option is worth pursuing. We will be back to try a curry.

Tried this place while here for training. The server was excellent and the food was very good. I got sushi and chicken and shrimp. Highly recommend.

Took a chance on an unknown place for lunch. One of top two Phoâs Iâve had. Huge portion, aromatic and flavorful. Excellent lunch.

Our group had beef curry and a rice bowl. All the food was good and they accommodate allergies and additions to dishes. Miso soup was good, atmosphere interesting. We didnât get to try the sushi but it looked delicious. Tables and menus could be cleaner, although it wasnât terrible. Service was slow but friendly and helpful. Would eat there again.

This is a cash only establishment, but the store adjacent has an ATM. The menu is varied with many delights which are prepared fresh, the vegetables crisp and the rice fresh. The staff are more than attentive. So if in Corvallis looking for an authentic Thai spot, drive/walk over to immerse yourself in this yummy atmosphere.

This wasn't my first time dining in this establishment. The food is always tasty, the service acceptable and the price reasonable. Since we normally have a large group we are accommodated in a dining room where the table has a very large lazy-Susan. The food is hot (temperature) and the flavoring is adjusted to suit your personal pallet (spicy, mild or bland - your call). Over the years I've tried several different offering and I've never been disappointed

This is relaxed casual dining that appeals to all. I saw students, families, retired couples, young couples, apparent business groups, and singles. My grilled salmon was absolutely delicious, with a sauce new to me (maybe typically Korean?). The sautéed vegetables were a step up from the usual âsteamed vegetables on the sideâ. Well-prepared rice rounded out a full meal. I could tell diners at adjacent tables were enjoying their meals, and the other entrées looked worth a repeat visit. The restaurant is known for its gelato desserts. On a Friday night, my first four selections from the dessert menu were flavors they were out of, so the waitress graciously brought over a list of flavors that they did have that night. There is a selection of several beers and wines, and there appeared to be an active carry out counter. Service was friendly and efficient. I had a small wait for the dinner, but the wait was worth it. The place was busy, and for good reason. Highly recommended.

We've eaten at the Szechuan Cafe twice now; both times we thought the food was very good. The place is set up with wooden picnic tables. Lunch comes with soup, rice, egg roll and a main dish at the very reasonable price of eight bucks! We had sweet and sour pork, fried green beans and szechuan chicken (very spicy rather than just spicy).

As others have mentioned, the decor is an interesting mix of logging memorabilia and Thai posters, some of which seem to feature the owner, Nang. Also as others mention, you get a lot of food - I recommend ordering dishes for the table and sharing - there will be plenty of food. I had the panang curry - one of my favorites - most of the heat comes from lots of fresh ginger root - a good reason to have the coconut ice cream for dessert! Servers are very friendly and service is good. It is 3 stars instead of 4 for me because I prefer the Thai food at a restaurant near my home in Beaverton. I will definitely revisit the Woodsman to try out the non-Thai food - that also looked very good and very fresh.
