My company made a reservation or booking for this restaurant just before Christmas, supposed to start serving or eating at 18.00(6.00p.m) but changed to 20.00(8.00 p.m) at last few hours for whatever reasons so when I arrived at the restaurant 10 mins to 8.00 p.m. to my horror, the queue was so long just to have our winter-jackets or coats hanged,I decided to have my jacket hanged on the seat I was seating instead. but the waitress told me or us that our jackets must be hanged or left at those proper counters or closets assistants. Well,I said to her if I come to this restaurant just to hang my jacket, waiting in line for about half an hour,I might as well go home to make my own food or go somewhere else becoz I was hungry and angry about the organisation. The buffe was average as there were so much people, definitely the quality of the food and service were average. Though the atmosphere and interior decos are nice but the poor service or man-powering the premises is undermined. Tragic! Should be a very nice restaurant if hanging of customers outer clothes be a bit faster and service abit smoother then I would recommend to other companies.

Kitchen & Table - The kitchen of Marcus Samuelsson brings the flavors of Manhattan to your table
Ãrebro has a lot of restaurants, but as a tourist with just two days in town, it is hard to zoom in on the ones worth visiting that won't break the bank. We took a chance on this restaurant because it was close to our hotel and due to the Marcus Samuelsson connection (his cheery face beams from a big picture in the window).Mr Samuelsson was nowhere near on the evening we went (in fact, this restaurant is a chain, so he probably never cooks at any of them). Overall, we enjoyed our visit to the restaurant but that was in large measure due to the friendly staff. We had a lovely chat with our server, Py, who took an interest in us and gave great service. The menu is fairly limited with a few apps, salads and mains with optional sides. We both had burgers: the KT burger (beef; 175 SEK) and the Farmer's burger (vegetarian; 155 SEK). Both came with a small portion of parmesan-dusted fries. Now, here is an example of how the association with a celebrity chef starts to fall apart... the fries were severed with regular Heinz ketchup. The beef burger was not hot enough when it reached the table, but was tasty enough. The veggie burger was tasty and hot, but suffered from a lack of binding agent because it just fell apart immediately. I had the "Mulberry Roasted Brocolli" (49 SEK) as a side which was nicely spiced with chili oil but no trace of mulberry could be found. All of the food was well presented on the plate. The only beer on tap is Carlsberg Export (59 SEK), but several other local and more interesting options are available by the bottle (69 SEK and up). The wine list is brief and rather expensive (350 SEK per bottle and up).The restaurant was almost empty at 7:30pm - maybe six tables occupied in a fairly large space. I'm not sure of this is due to the local reputation or just the summer slow down. There is no outdoor seating. The restaurant is in the lobby of the Clarion Hotel, which gives it a slightly downmarket feel.In the end, service and friendly staff rescued the evening. No regrets, but we wouldn't return.
Ett mysigt och trevligt bageri som alltid har gott och välbakat bröd. Hit åker man gärna en omväg för att handla.

Had the opportunity to visit Stora Ãrebro, and liked it a lot. Good food and nice staff. Had a burger that was really good, almost too big to handle but I managed to devour it.

This restaurant has a nice view since it is right across from the castle and its lovely gardens. The food was very good and we were all pleased with our meals. Our party was split with half of us getting the pepper steak and the others the buttered cod fish. Everything was tasty and well prepared. Our waitress was very pleasant and attentive.

A restaurant along road E18 where we serve homemade swedish food with some international influences. We have today´s lunch and á la carte and various homemade sallads, bread, butter ,drink, coffee & cake is included in the price We have great sandwiches, p
We stopped at Lekhyttans Kök & Kiosk just by chance. It was time for dinner and in the middle of nowhere we saw their sign. Our expectance was low. Here in the middle of the forest between Karlskoga and Kristinehamn who would expect anything else but truckstop grub. But were we surprised! No only do the ONLY serve homemade cooking, it's also made from local produce. This place may LOOK a bit worn, but don't be fooled by it's looks. This is a real gem that serves a good, hearty meal with a smile. So if you happen to be in this area, don't miss this opportunity. We shall be back!

Both restaurant Lilla and Stora seem to share the same phone number. When booking our table for dinner, we were booked at the wrong one. The staff was later not able to rectify it. The staff offered a drink to apologise.Food was just average. Ingredients could work fine separately, and the sum was not greater. Dishes were quite salty. We went for the two course meal. Long waiting times between first and second course, whereas the dining room seemed 1/3rd full. Some staff members did not seem to be attentive to getting unused and dirty glasses off our table, or give us enough menus when we sat it.Some other staff members where however willing to help, and translate the menu with us.I think the price point should be 30% lower.

The food is really good, I went slightly after lunch because the restaurant can be crazy crowded. After lunch it's peaceful. The menu is created daily and written on a chalkboard over the counter. Make your selection at the counter pay for your food, pick up a drink, silverware and have a seat. When your meal is ready they bring it out to you. I had a delicious beef roast with béarnaise sauce, new potatoes and salad.
