The Krishna Restaurant offers a lot to its visitors. Fresh foods of Indian and international cuisines are prepared in a clean kitchen for a fair price. Visitors also have a great choice in where to take their meals. Krishna Restaurant has one of the highest Roof Tops in all Orchha offering the visitors a great view on the palace. One can also sit inside or on the Terrace right at the main road. Welcome!
Maybe we haven't been lucky with our choice of food but I have to say that this has been the worst food we have ever eaten in India! We ordered a vegetable byriani and it was just rice with onions and green peppers...not so many vegetables...
Paneer with spinach was acceptable but not really tasty. The place is very simple and not so clean...I would not recommend it at all...

Right opposite to bus station of orchha with a view of orchha palace. This place is famous among foreign tourist because of the international food they serve. Small place with average ambiance but good food taste. They also serve beer to foreign and outstation guests. Not for locals. One may have good pizza, pasta and soups there. Been there in eve, had a coffee and pizza. Enjoyed my food and time.

I must admit that I did not consume anything here.
I simply wanted to enjoy a late afternoon beer and had the foresight to ask the price before the bottle was opened. When I showed surprise at the high price the waiter responded with the type of comment that should be confined to the market."How much would you like to pay?" etc.
This cannot happen in a restuarant. It scares customers away.

The hotel is itself in the fort (Jahangir Mahal). As per history ( as told by guide) seesh mahal was guest house. Location is best for see the Orchha surroundings. Food is good.Service is also good.

"Extremely friendly and helpful owner" 5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 December 2015 via mobile Had a wonderful time eating breakfast at this restaurant, one of the best aloo paranthas I had in India until now. Came several times as the owner became a friend to me and my friend. He was extremely helpful with information about Orchha and showed us around a little after closing. Highly recommended.
The restaurant was recommended by a friend who passed through Orchha a few days before.
It is located behind the temple away from the main hub-bub and is on the first floor, so a great location for people watching down below.
The restaurant has super fast, free wifi (which the owner will switch on, if it isn't already) and the food was cooked to order in a small kitchen right next to the tables.
We had an enjoyable lunch. The service was prompt and staff very friendly.
Would certainly eat there again.
TIP:
Beer is available but they are not permitted to include it on the menu. You have to ask for it!

We planned to attend it and had dinner at Hotel Betwa Tarang. The roof top restaurant served quick rotis and sabji upon special request as dont want miss the sound and light show. We also had Puri sabji as breakfast here and it was quite filling.
This has AC dining hall as well as outdoor roof top.

A little restaurant in the lane opposite to the ram raja temple, this place serves nice coffees and lovely Indian food along with some indianised pasta and pizza. Ingredients are fresh and the food is nominally priced.

We arrived quite late for dinner, yet the staff was very friendly (one dish was too spicy, they spontaneously brought us a new version of it, free of cost). The food was good. There were musicians playing traditional music for guests outside, staff offered to close the door if we wanted. View of the temples from the restaurant.
