Reviewed By dominiksU4994KVWith pleasure I’d like to recommend a three-star Hotel and Restaurant Honey Mill in Opatów. It’s an original place close to the center of small town Opatów. I sleep in this place from time to time. The rooms are clean in medium quality (and a bit old-fashioned) but the restaurant is impeccablsalted caramel. My colleague ate cured wooden smoked pork ribs served with Rowan Berries and old-fashioned cabbage and peas. For the dessert he tasted Rose Gold dessert with edible rose petalse for gourmet customers. Menu in the restaurant deserve (for) special attention. For the main course I ate miller chop served on crispy potato cakes and for dessert I tasted regional plum stewed in coffee and honey, served with mascarpone cheese and under a gold dome with mascarpone. The food is prepared very carefully and separately for each client. The service is polite and helpful and they have a lot of information about domestic dishes. This place is completely covid safe. In the restaurant we have to wear masks and disinfect our hands and all the tables have clean surfaces with protection cover. What deserve attention are homemade liqueurs and regional beers.

Reviewed By RTH435The hotel was chosen as a base for sightseeing and hiking in the local area and it served us well. The hosts were hospitable, friendly and attentive. The room (and associated restaurant) were modern, comfortable, clean and well looked after. In comparison with other Polish Hotels of this price range it stands up well and is good value for money. Unfortunately, although we knew ahead that the room did not have air conditioning, our stay coincided with some of the hottest weather of the summer! The room was ok heat wise but as we had to have the windows open all the time this really emphasised the noise from a main road close by. Obviously it was out of the control of the hosts, but the almost constant traffic did become tiresome when using the outside dining area in the evening and at night when we were trying to sleep. There are plans to build a bypass apparently and this would transform likelihood of returning from a possibility to a probability. The Hotel has a small restaurant where we tried excellent Pizza and Greek Salad as well as some Polish beer of course! Overall a good experience.
