This is a small, family-run pizzeria that has great, friendly service, awesome food and always willing to try something new and different. The pizza crust is delicious, and all of the pizzas are made with fresh ingredients. Try the Chicken Caesar Pizza or Butter Chicken Pizza. They've just added Cannelloni to the menu as well. Whenever I get pizza, Guelph's Finest is my first choice!

If you like Italian cuisine this is a great place to go. I have only been for lunch but have never been disappointed. They have many Italian regulars seen there frequently so obviously they are endorsing the cuisine by their frequent visits. The service is very good and often it's the owner herself. The food is served in a timely manner and comes hot so no sitting around under heat lamps. It's a fairly small establishment and is almost always busy so go early or make a reservation if you want a table.

Hey Budda Boom Budda Bing! We are the Home of All-You-Can-Eat soup or salad and garlic home loaf and offer delicious Italian meals at great value. At East Side Marioâs your family is our family and we are committed to deliver Amore in everything we do!
When we ask our family where they want to go out for dinner on special occasions our kids always chant "East Side Marios, East Side Marios!" And we always agree because we can be guaranteed a yummy satisfying meal every time. There is something exciting on the menu for everyone. Our kids love the fun drinks and typical kid favorites. The biggest selling feature for our family is the all you can eat salad and garlic bread!! The firecracker bow tie shrimp has been my go to pasta for years! Perfectly spicy. Highly recommended!

Friends in downtown Guelph made a reservation for the 4 of us so we could all try this fairly new entrant to the gastro scene and we are so glad they did! We found parking to be convenient though I will comment more fully on this a little later. There was a warm welcome when we arrived and our table was at the front of the building by the window. Near the fireplace and charming. It's a relatively short menu but from experience this is usually a good thing and indicates that the kitchen knows what it is doing. This was very much the case on this visit. Drinks and meals were ordered and this gave our small group a chance to chat. There have been comments about the noise level but on this lunchtime visit â even though the room was busy and well occupied â it did not intrude on our conversation. The sound was clearly that of contented people enjoying their lunch. A good sound. All of us ordered a pasta dish . . . shrimp pappardelle for some and spaghetti meat balls for one. The wine selection was good value by Toronto standards. Our meals arrived quickly and we all commented on the presentation . . . looked good enough to eat and eat we did! The pasta was cooked perfectly to my taste and from the expressions across the table it was for everyone else too. Of course pasta texture is a subjective thing but for this chap it was delizioso! Portions were more than adequate and in fact one in our group had to leave half for a take-away box. The meals were oh so good. Did I mention this? The kitchen really has its act together. As a result no one could manage dessert but we all had coffee.Front of house works equally efficiently and the overall experience was delightful. For those with a mobility challenge it was good to see that the washrooms are on the main floor but let me add that extra comment about the parking. There is street parking if you are fortunate, and there is lots of room behind the restaurant. That said the walk back to the restaurant is up a fairly steep gradient and next time (and there will be a next time) being dropped off at the front door would be good. If you have a mobility challenge then it might be worth keeping this in mind.Value on this late summer Monday was very good with an excellent lunch for two complete with wine, coffee and gratuity in the $60 range. Marisa and Alex have brought another level of casual fine dining to this delightful small city. We are looking forward to our next visit to see what interesting and creative flavours the kitchen has for our delight and enjoyment. Well done to the whole team!Thank you so much, Tony, for the well written and kind review of our restaurant! We love to hear it when our guests' have an amazing experience and it sounds like yours was just that! We hope to see you again in the near future. All the best from the Sugo team!

Spent a pleasant evening and nice dinner with co-workers. The restaurant is located in the very heart of downtime Guelph, just minutes of walk from the Basilica of our Lady Immaculate. It is a stylish Italian restaurant with authentic Italian cuisine. The server was very pleasant and efficient, the music appropriately quiet, the food just right. Had duck breast on baked squash. Excellent!

We visited Romero's after a few years and discovered that it continues to offer excellent, fresh seafood pasta and a pleasant atmosphere. My seafood linguine contained large, fresh shrimp, mussels, scallops and a delicious cream sauce. My wife's Portobello mushroom pasta was equally delicious. They offer a wide selection of excellent food and a reasonably priced wine list. For a lovely evening out at a reasonable price, this is the restaurant to visit. The patio is pleasant for those who enjoy outdoor eating.

Stopped in for crepes on a Sunday and was not disappointed. They offer a great appetizer menu in the evening as well. Good place to stop in before heading out on the town.

We live close to Manhattans and we have always enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Saturday was our first visit with the new owners and new menu. Upon arrival, we soon saw that the table promised was taken. There was no apology by the hostess and made to sound like it was our fault. Our server was rude and rushed us to order. In the past, we would sit and enjoy drinks and music without feeling rushed. Before 11 pm staff were going through a cleanup routine and we felt as though we were overstaying our welcome and imposing on our server. Maybe update your hours of operation on Google. On a positive note, the food was delicious. After being a regular customer at Manhattans the last few years, thia night was a huge letdown and leaving us with mixed feelings of ever returning. This has been a landmark in Guelph and the new owners have pretty big shoes to fill. Replacing the server that we had might be a good start.

The atmosphere is great, service wonderful, and the food is excellent. No complaints anytime I have been here both with friends and work.
