Typical for this chain of restaurants. There was a good choice of beers/lager on tap and plenty of food to choose from but the portion size is huge compared to UK.We both opted for pasta dishes and neither of us were able to finish them. I would suggest skipping a starter and going straight to main course if you aren't use to large portions.Hi, Lyndsay! We are glad to see that you enjoyed your visit! We'll be sure to share your feedback about the portion size with our team. Hopefully, we can make your next visit a 5-star one! See you again soon!

Dirty Dive, Food is Fine, Ok, its just not nice and I have pretty low standards. Parking is good and its not expensive but if your reading this looking for a spot dont bother.

I can't share a big food review of this place as my husband and I enjoyed a bottle of wine on the patio one evening with dessert. The wine was excellent as was the customer service. However, I ordered the Chocolate Brownie dessert and it tasted like store-bought brownie with a scoop of ice cream in the middle. I was expecing a homemade dessert but this lacked the taste. I would recommend as a nice place to sit on the patio and have a drink.

I have been to the Brunswick 3 or 4 times over the past year and have had a good experience every time. The restaurant itself looks a bit sketchy on the outside, but it was clean and comfortable each time I was there. The service was good and fast, the food came out fairly quickly and was hot and tasty. I would recommend going there again.

Stopped here twice while boaitng in ealry Aug 2017 for supplies and dinner. The first time there were 6 of us, the second 10.The food was excellent, the service was fun with one of our group being accussed of being high maintennace by the owner who was also also our waitress. It was meant and taken in a good humoured way and to be honest, he probably desireved it.Being further down Bying Inlet, St. Amant's is a bit out of the way when you are travelling by boat but it is worth the trip.

This is your average, side of the road diner, with a pretty good menu and some nice, historical decor.

Craganmor is located just 2 hours north of Toronto and 15 minutes by boat from Parry Sound, Ontario. Catering to groups of up to 40 we are a perfect destination for a corporate team building event, family reunion or gathering of friends. GPS Location 45 1
Our family went in for dinner tonight (Monday) and there were only 3 tables occupied. The menu looked not bad and the reviews were good. Our waiter should consider a new profession. He looked like he didn't really care and his performance was no different. The meals were to say the least, very disappointing. My 2 piece Fish and Chips looked like a Kids portion for $19.00.The Pickerel dinner for $28.00 was full of bones. The Burgers weren't bad, but for $18.00 we expected real Blue Cheese not a dressing.Even the Ketchup was watery! All in all when 5 adults say they were disappointed with their meals it must have some merit.Bottom line, disappointing meals, high prices and lack lustre service mean we will not be returning.Hi Jim,We apologize you had an unhappy experienceWe do urge you in the future when you visit restaurants if you unhappy with anything that you receive to let the management know at the time so we can fix the situation and not have disappointed customers Your waiter was not a professional and is going back to his university studies in the fall, he and most of the other staff are serving for the first time this season and were trained by us in the spring. It is almost impossible for us to get experienced staff that want to live on an island beside their workplace for a 4 month season so we hire decent young people each spring and train them ourselves (which is expensive). We are also at mercy of their moods and unfortunately cannot force them to be happy and cheerful all the time. Overall they are a great group of kids that are doing their best at a summer job, they are not professionals. Our restaurant does have a very good reputation as you can see from the majority of the reviews and we stand behind our products and menu, of course things don't always go perfectly but we try very hard. Our hand battered fish and chips is a good size portion and has been one of our signature menu items for 18 years. We would have been happy to 'top up' your plate at the time if you had asked. Unfortunately we do not do anything with the deboning of the Pickerel, it comes individually quick frozen, comes out of the box, is defrosted and goes into the frying pan. They are filleted by machine and unfortunately some of them do have bones. Again, if you had mentioned at the time we could have replaced the fish or taken it off the bill. The blue cheese sauce that you mentioned as 'not real' on our burgers is actually handmade on site from real blue cheese, we combine it with real cream to produce a sauce. The ketchup...strange comment...is refilled from a Heinz dispenser. If it sits it sometimes forms a thin watery layer on top but this is a very small amount with normal ketchup right behind it. About our prices, we will remind you that we are on an island, everything that we receive must be picked up by boat from the mainland and unloaded on the island. As well all of our garbage must be taken off the island by boat unlike restaurants on land that have a truck pull up to the back door. All of this adds extra cost but we try and keep our prices in line with restaurants in town. Wellingtons pub and grill in downtown Parry Sound currently has pickerel at $26 (check their menu online). You came by boat, sat on a patio over the water, watched the boats go by and paid $2 more than in town! I notice that in another review you complained about the prices at Henry's restaurant which is also on an island about 15 minutes from us. You may be interested to know that they closed their doors permanently in July because of the difficulties in keeping staff on an island restaurant. They had been running for about 40 years. We again apologize that you were happy with your experience, we invite you to revisit the establishment, make yourself known to us and we will do out utmost to make it a pleasurable experience. I urge you to again read our reviews from the season. Thanks,Matt, Natalie and Andrew Overend Owners

Open Mid-May to Mid-October. Georgian Bay Airways is a long standing air tour sightseeing business, and the Flight Deck Grill is Parry Sound's newest waterfront restaurant. Come by car, boat or plane, 7 dock slips available for customers to use.
Stopped in for lunch on a Fri afternoon while visiting a relative in PS. The place was packed. A limited and slightly pricey menu but food was good and the fries were great! We had blackened chicken caesar salad, pickerel sandwich (without bun) $18.95 and halibut and fries $17.95.Friendly service. Nice views of the lake. Outside waterside seating. All make for a nice option for dining while in PS. They are planning on remaining open until Thanksgiving and possibly until Christmas, "playing it by ear" before closing for the winter so make sure to call ahead before you go. The food is great, big portions and reasonably priced. There is free parking in front. Very friendly service and suitable for a big family gathering. This place is a great alternative to the bay area restaurants, although no waterfront view..
