Personally I found the reception to be rude. While no other people there, she didn't have a moment to converse or answer questions from a first time visitor. I didn't even know where the door was to get from one side to the other - she couldn't be bothered to speak to me. So I left and don't anticipate returning.

I visited this particular Starbucks on March 5th in the early afternoon and encountered a barista that was unpleasant, snotty and just going through the motions of being overpaid. The dark roast was Sumatra aka, worst brew Starbucks offers and when I asked if there was an alternative, I received a very matter of fact, "No." I asked the barista if she could do a pour over or perhaps offer an alternative, and she emphatically said, "No."The barista stood behind the counter, with a "Can't Really Help Ya Buddy" look and for the first time in 20 years, I considered going to Tom Horton's; where the coffee is disgusting, but at least the wait staff are pleasant. I will not visit this Starbucks location again and encourage others to avoid if possible.

Stopped in here while headed to Belleville. It wasn't too busy so service was pretty quick. As with all OnRoutes the prices were higher than what you would normally pay by a small amount. The food was typical Burger King, not great but not bad. It's a convenient place to stop.

There was 5 of arrived for sunday dinner. I must say our server sarah was wonderful. She was quick efficient and friendly. The food came out quickly and was exactly what we ordered with server checking on our meal and drinks. We were all happy with our meals and i must say we had visited this restaurant in the past and didnt want to go back but happy that we did. Well done sarah and thank you so much for a wonderful experience.

We were staying at the nearby Comfort Inn and just wanted a light supper, so walked over and grabbed a sub to go (You can sit in the restaurant, but seating is very limited). Love their subs toasted and with all the ingredients and toppings you want...and you get your sub in all of 5 minutes. The price was great as well. Who doesn't like a sub now and again?

Stayed here for two nights while visiting family in the area; our room was comfortable and the bathroom clean and well supplied. On the second evening we enjoyed some quiet time with a glass of wine (glasses promptly provided at our request) in the comfortable guest common room on the main floor. Breakfasts were superior and beautifully presented and the coffee was excellent!Thank you for your very nice review Catherine. We are happy you enjoyed your stay at our B&B and felt comfortable. Typical sports bar/pub food and atmosphere. We ordered the lamb stroganoff because it was the special of the day and sounded interesting as well as the Julienne salad and a bowl of soup. The soup arrived first as requested and was delicious. The mains arrived shortly afterwards and were both large,delicious, and the temperature they were supposed to be. We had enough for a take-away box. Prices were reasonable for the amount of food received. We basically had two servers and had all the attention we needed. Not too overpowering but attentive. The decor could do with a bit of sprucing up, but that was just a minor observation. It seemed that they were in the middle of remodelling the ladies washroom. It was noisy in the bar section, but the restaurant was large enough that you could get away from some of the noise. T.V.s everywhere so you didn't need to miss anything sports related.All in all, a good experience if you want to go to a sports bar and nothing fancier. We will be back!

This is a wonderful little gem in Port Hope. The weekend eggs bennie never disappoints. I eat there regularly & recommend it to everyone!The only thing that really gets under my skin in this place is their reliance on single use plastic. For a place where the coffee is flowing & refills are a plenty, I can't understand why they don't just use refillable milk jugs rather than hundreds of those tiny UHT containers. Please stop with the plastic.In a place where the only gripe is about process rather than service or food, you know it's a good spot!

We were very happy with our selections. The sweet potato fries were crispy on the outside, tender on the inside and very hot. The chipotle dipping sauce was excellent too. Our burgers were juicy and flavourful. The peppercorn beef patty of the Ares was lightly seasoned with pepper..just right. My husband enjoyed his Dionysus build-your-own burger with his choice of toppings. Their milkshakes are thick and creamy, just the way you would want a milkshake to be. Yum, yum!
