Palace pizza has hands down one of the best pizzas you can buy. Sadly, they are ripping off their customers. Over the last few months, I have paid 4 different prices for the same large pepperoni pizza. For the record, pricing went up and down, not just up. I bought a large pepperoni pizza tonight, was told $16. BUT, the price is $13.80 plus tax, which I confirmed with the man behind the counter. I told him in that case it's $15.60, NOT $16. Right away, very defensively, his wife, who was sitting at the table, tells me prices are subject to change without notice. Ok, that's fine, but your husband, the co-owner JUST confirmed it's $13.80. So the price changed in last 10 seconds? They gave me back the difference and I went home. Checked all my past receipts, and sure enough, EVERY one of them is rounded up to the nearest dollar. Usually resulting in a $0.50 difference. So heads up, confirm why you are paying when you go there. Pizza is phenomenal, but they rip you off in the process.

We went here on Thanksgiving Sunday. The restaurant was open until 10 and we made reservations for 8. We arrived at 745 and there were only two other tables seated. This could be attributed to the holiday weekend however. The other tables were almost finished and our waiter looked genuinely upset that we had arrived and had to serve another table. The bread that was brought to us was on the stale side. The meals, while they were large portions, left much to be desired. On the positives, the pasta, caesar salad and bruschetta were really good. I ordered mussels (from the appetizer menu) for my main course. When they came they were cold. I think they were made with the other appetizers and just left there to wait until our mains were done. The pizza was ok and the price was expensive for the experience. We will not be returning.

This last Friday night we drove up to Newmarket from Toronto just to experience for the first time the food at Zuccas.i had the egg plant parmigiana and the others in my party the lasagnia. Absolutely the best eggplant parmigiana I can ever remember having. Try as I might I could not finish it. Well after we finished dinner our server asked us if we would like dessert. OMG their Tiramisu was to die for and it was such a huge slice that 3 of us had a hard time finishing it. This place is the best kept secret in Newmarket. If I could change one thing about this fine establishment it would be to extend their hours of closing from 9pm to 11pm.at least on Friday & Saturday night Looking forward to coming back once again very soon, definitely worth the drive!

This is a really good Italian restaurant. Itâs got a real trendy vibe to it with a varied and unique menu. The service is good and the food is delicious. For appetizers I had some fried calamari that were prepared exceptionally well, with some olives and a nice dipping sauce. There were many options on the menu but I decided to just have a simple bowl of cavatelli in a perfectly seasoned tomato sauce. The cavatelli were done al dente and hit the mark. It was my first time coming here and I intend to come back for sure, this is a gem of a restaurant.

We stumbled on this restaurant and realized the owners are from the very successful Il Postino in Unionville! You must order the lamb and meatball appetizers...and the risotto was to die for! This was one of the best meals weâve had in a long time! And the owners, Melanie and Dominic, could not have been more welcoming! We highly recommend you try it! It will immediately become your favorite!

Very nice atmosphere and I felt like I was in little italy with the hostess/server with heavy italian accent. :) Presentation was good, taste was superb, portions superb. House wine (shirez) was surprisingly excellent. The calamari was cooked just perfect which is not easy. veal selection of the day could have used not button mushrooms but morels would have been a better choice. One of us had a seafood dish which was exactly that - a huge dish of seafood with salmon, lobster, calamari (whole) , jumbo shrimp, scallops, small shrimp in the pasta and i think crab. it was huge portions of each and great. All pastas where very good.
