We found this place by accident and based on the slick, new facade we were formulating our escape plan as we approached the door. Once inside the delicious aroma of homemade lasagne calmed us and shortly thereafter, the promise of a gouda-stuffed bacon-topped burger had us wound up once again. We stayed, we ate and we were conquered! What a great spot! Hitch up the wagons, we're heading to Ontario!

Recently in April we stopped in at the Nipigon Esso for breakfast before we went back to Winnipeg Manitoba. My husband had ordered his usual , and I ordered a western sandwich. The cook Cass sent out his creation! Wow it was filling and great , I couldn't finish it all!I recommend you stop in and order a meal here!! Filling and tastes great!!!

I had the hot hamburger sandwich and was ok with the quality, I just found the overall price kind of high for a truck stop.Bottom line, the food was decent, the coffee was good and the price was a tad higher than expected.

Friendly efficient Indigenous waitress. Drinks were delivered and menu supplied momentarily. Orders were taken with advice re options. We both ordered the Beef Vindaloo, half portions. The food was delicious and we had enough for two large take outs.

This lovely cafe is well worth a visit. They serve great coffee and always have freshly baked treats and a really delicious menu of sandwiches, wraps and soups. The ingredients are fresh and tasty and everything is made to order. It's located right in the heart of Nipigon. There's a green space with picnic tables where you can eat on sunny days and it's right across the street from the Paddle to the Sea park and splash pad. By far the best spot in town to eat!
