We all had lunch here and found the staff very friendly, caring and keen to ensure every customer loves there meal and experience. The food was so fresh I was not sure it had even been picked yet.The owners and staff of this place clearly live there jobs and the food highlighted this. In shop seating of take away. Reservations were made in advance, for the celebration of a retiree. The 4 of us were excited for the evening out, however we were disappointed by the lack of enthusiasm we experienced at the restaurant. There was not even an acknowledgement of the celebration, even during the chit chat with the person tending to our table. We had cocktails, appetizers, 4 entrees and aperitifs. The food lacked taste and drinks were expensive. The cost isntâ even the issue; we were insulted by the attendant at our table, who make a snarky comment about how much food had been eaten. For 4 people, we paid over $400 which we were more than willing to spend; itâs just too bad the experience was lame. You've been to our restaurant before, both locations. And reviews were great. I'm sad to hear that your experience wasn't the same. I pride myself on quality food and superior service. We always go out of our way to make our guests feel at home especially on special occasions.I took the reservation but do not recall a mention of a retiring colleague. If so, I definitely would have a knowledge with complimentary dessert as I often do. I am also shocked to hear about the service. I only hire mature, qualified servers. I do hope you will return. We had a really nice waiter who was eager to please, and got us clean dishes and cutlery after we were given dirty items. The menu was lame and really needs an improvement from the frozen, deep fried, sugar laced items. There isnât much for a vegetarian to eat, even the house salad lacked vegetables and taste.
