The Chuckwagon is something of a Kingsville institution and has a very devout regular following. This is an updated, spotless yet still very old-fashioned diner-type restaurant, The menu is also very traditional and has most of the old standby's, bacon and eggs, omelettes, breakfast sandwiches, broasted chicken later in the day. It can get very busy and at times the wait staff can be over-whelmed but they are always friendly. The food is tasty and reasonably priced. Breakfast for two with tax and tip will run around $25.

Jim was there cooking and he made us unbelievably good breakfasts, the service was quick and the atmosphere is hometown diner, not fancy, just good! We will come again soon!!
We were on a day trip to visit the Canadian Heritage and Transportation Museum and this restaurant is right on site.Of course it is done up like a 50's diner, and although it is ""uthentic" it's a little underwhelming. No mini jukeboxes on each table, and the only one they appeared to have you couldn't use. It's a fast sit-down, so order your food and then have a seat. They do play a bunch of music, that can be heard from the outside when you walk into the museum. There is a large outdoor patio, although it didn't appear to be open on the day we went. The prices are reasonable, but don't expect great food. It is your basic cafeteria type food, hotdogs, hamburgers, sandwiches etc. Loved the fries, they were definitely my favourite part. Quick service, and they didn't have a problem with us ordering shortly before they closed. If you need something to eat, don't be afraid to grab something but if you are looking for something a little more flavourful and can wait, I would recommend waiting and going into the town of Kingsville and eating there.

Best Turkey we every had. Melt in your mouth. Very Reasonable - big portions and super friendly staff. More a diner atmosphere but if you are looking for GREAT food and GREAT prices... Check out Rosabelle's!
Where to eat Pub food in Kingsville: The Best Restaurants and Bars
I just recently moved to this area, Cottam. It's amazing and such a difference from where I left, the 12 hour drive (north!) away. No comparison. When my 5 year old son and I walked in, we were heartily greeted and immediately felt so very welcome. My boy loved the generous portion of kid's French Toast and my 2 egg breaky (with lovely homefries and exquisite coffee!!!) was beyond perfect!!! A few days after, I tried another restaurant for breaky but couldn't get out of my head, our great experience and the tastey food of the Grounded Cafe and Eatery. I'm lucky this wonderful place is so near our home!!
