We go to Captain George's for supper about once a month. We have never been disappointed. The fish is always done to perfection, very light crispy batter, never greasy. Portion sizes are very generous. The staff is amazing, always fast, friendly and courteous. Definitely the best in town, by far.

An inconspicuous location a block or two from downtown with a pleasant surprise in store.Walk in and the first thing that strikes you is that the place is beyond clean, it is spotless. Before the door closes behind you, youâre wait staff greet you with a smile and a friendly welcome.As for the food, it delivers exactly what youâd look for in a fish and chips shop. The fish was hot and covered in a beautiful, light and crisp batter. Chips were fresh cut, cooked in clean oil, hot and crisp.Not fine dining but great food, well prepared, served by pleasant staff at a reasonable price. Well worth stopping by.
