Reviews on Mexican food in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada. Sarnia is a city in Southwestern Ontario, Canada, and had a 2016 population of 71,594. It is the largest city on Lake Huron and in Lambton County. Sarnia is located on the eastern bank of the junction between the Upper and Lower Great Lakes where Lake Huron flows into the St. Clair River, which forms the Canada–United States border, directly across from Port Huron, Michigan. The city's natural harbour first attracted the French explorer La Salle, who named the site "The Rapids" when he had horses and men pull his 45 tonnes (50 short tons; 44 long tons) barque "Le Griffon" up the almost four-knot current of the St. Clair River on 23 August 1679.

We are a full service pub style restaurant with a large appetizer/lunch/dinner and gluten free menu. We are located in the heart of downtown Sarnia's culture/historic district with a great view of the St. Clair River. We also have two banquet rooms on the
We went here for the first time, and overall enjoyed the meal. We both got the one piece fish & chips. My fish was nice and flaky with a thin batter coating. However, my mom's fish had a spot of very thick batter that she ate around. We both agreed the fries were so good. They had a unique seasoning we really enjoyed. As it was my mom's birthday, she got a free piece of chocolate cake. The cake was warm, very chocolate-y, and moist. The atmosphere was cozy, but I would suggest choosing a table away from the door - the cold winter air kept reaching us as people came and went. Our server was very friendly, and made sure to check on us AND explain why our food was a little delayed. It was good service. We'd eat here again, but definitely order a different meal (scents of beef and onion wafted over to us and it smelled amazing).

A wonderful place to eat. The restaurant looks magnificent, the food is incredibly tasteful and customizable, and the owner is one of the nicest guys I've ever had the pleasure to meet. He truly understands what it takes to be a good host and just loves talking to people and making them happy. All in all, the restaurant is a must-stop to eat for anyone living in Sarnia or visiting.

A cozy café with vintage appeal inspired by the flavours and hospitality of Mexico. Serving up coffee, cocktails, tacos, and brunch.
We stopped here for quick dinner before going to the theatre. We had the mixed taco sampler and some Coronas. The tacos were all good, even the veggy one, and the house made hot sauce selection was really good. WOrth the try and worth a second try.

First timer for lunch. The free starter nachos (home made) and chips were excellent. Fish taco with mango based filling was also very tasty, but will order non battered fish next time. Need to order several however as they are very small (as in 2 or 3 bite size). Lots of choice of different beers. Folks sitting next to us raved about the margaritas too. Very prompt service and food served quickly and hot.
