Guided here by local friends we wanted an Indian food experience for dinner. We were welcomed to a small, spotless restaurant that was on the main drag in Barrie. Quickly welcomed by the hostess in traditional clothes we were guided through the varied menu to our eventual choices. The food came quickly, hot and full of flavour. An excellent meal and a thoroughly enjoyable experience. This restaurant is worth seeking out.

I was passing through Barrie and it was after lunchtime, so given my friend wanted a healthy fast lunch, I decided to try Twisted Indian. Not far off Highway 400 at the Duckworth exit, it was easy to find in the plaza. Friendly staff, menu easy to read. My friend and I both ordered the Keema in a bowl as opposed to a wrap. I got the spicy toppings and a side of Naan bread. My friend is from France and he loved it. I really enjoyed my Keema, which is ground beef cooked with gram masala and other indian spices. I loved the lingering warmth of the spices!Dear MuskokaMan,Thanks very much the detailed positive review of your lunch experience at our Duckworth Street, Barrie location. And really glad to hear that your French friend also liked the meal. Keema is indeed the second most popular protein after Butter-Chicken.Hope to see you again next time you're passing through Barrie.Cheers!!

Came back here to my faverite indian restaurant. Place was empty but we had great friendly service with the most spectacular chicken tikka masala and tadoru with the onion barhgi combo starter garlic nan bread. "You gotta eat here!!!" Omg I have gone to heaven. A bit pricey but well deserved. Place is pristine clean the bathrooms are spotless. 5 Stars, Imo, they need a TripAdvisor award for best eatery.
