Discover Restaurants offering the best Healthy food in London, Ontario, Canada. You’ll see double-decker buses and even the River Thames, but while London, Ontario, has clearly been inspired by its British namesake, this is a distinctly Canadian destination. Attractions like Fanshawe Pioneer Village, Banting House and Eldon House will captivate history buffs. Or indulge your, shall we say, slightly less cerebral side with a tour of the Labatt Brewery.

Super chill vibe, place seems like it belongs on the beach in Costa Rica. The owners run this place, one in the kitchen and one in the front-of-house, Exactly how it should be done, and it shows. The pizza crust is unbelievably thin, so zen'Za double bakes them to get the bottom crust done right - and it works well. My regular crust pizza was somewhat darker and denser that I expected, but still really good (whole wheat in the dough?) I would have preferred that the oven was wood-fired, which would have added a whole new dimension to the pizzas.Toppings are delicious, and a whole side of the menu is dedicated to veggie/vegan offerings which is awesome. Gluten-free options also available.Friendly owners and staff created a very enjoyable, relaxed experience.Thank you so much for the review. We would have loved to see how our dough works with a fire/brick oven but alas we are in a highrise building. We really do appreciate you noticing and enjoying the menu and love that you get why.

This place has a cool, back-to-basics vibe. The simplistic setting belies a varied and thoughtful menu of all vegan items. We had the falafel wrap, tacos would be better with corn tortillas), and sofrita crunch wrap. All were excellent! The menu also features interesting vegan twists on meaty staples such as Bangers & Mash and Fish & Chips. Oh, and the chocolate cheesecake made with cashew was amazeballs. 10/10 would dine again.

We have been to other Plant Matter locations, and enjoyed this one for lunch. Elyse was a gracious host and is passionate about what she does. We were able to sample some of their new creations and I ended up ordering their new chili. It was delicious! Quality food and environmentally responsible. Give them a try, you won't miss the meat!

We were stopping by London so decided to try this vegan eatery. I'm not vegan but I enjoy plant-based food very much. The restaurant was pleasantly busy and we were welcomed by a friendly server. The menu seemed promising but we were ultimately disappointed. The mushroom on toast starter was just unpleasant: the mushrooms only taste of wine which had not been reduced to let the alcohol evaporate and they were cold, the bread was uninspiring white bread and felt as if it had been sliced and toasted in advance, overall it felt quite amateurish as a dish. The rice paper rolls were good but certainly nothing gourmet and could have been assembled by anyone, they were lacking some oomph (e.g. toasted peanut, fried shallots etc.), the sesame sauce was good but wasn't enough to lift the dish. We moved on to the entrees and the disappointment sadly continued. The burrito was so middle of the road and I personally think it's quite unimaginative to have a side of rice with a burrito which has rice in it. In any event, the only flavor I was getting was chili. As for the bibimbap, the stock was good but the rest was just boiled rice with raw vegetables, once again lacking something to make it a bit special. Bottom line is that the food felt more cafe-like than restaurant/gourmet-dining, despite the fine dining prices. On that basis, despite the some nice flavors there and then, I sadly cannot recommend it.
