My husband and I went to dine with our kids aged 8 and 10.I ordered veal parmeggiana, my husband ordered the pasta with clams and shrimp. Kids had pasta with meatballs. Everything was fresh, authentic, tasty, delicious! Deserts were also great. Great service (I wished I remembered our waitressâ name). Would go back anytime!!! Great restaurant.

Paris Crêpes Café is a beautiful marriage of fine French cuisine set in the old traditional French bistro style. We offer a true and authentic taste of France, unlike any other restaurant in the Niagara region. The Paris Crepes team will provide you with
Drove out of our way to try this place as it was highly rated. The crepes were very good, but we were there more than an hour -- and it wasn't very busy. The cooking surface used for making crepes was not always going, which left us wondering why we were waiting so long?! Prices are a bit on the high side; $32.75 for two crepes and one soft drink.

We've dined at Ponte Vecchio several times. Until now, the experiences have been excellent. However, on this visit, the experience was well below what we expected. We were seated promptly, at our reservation time, but that was the only "timely" part of our dinner. It took many minutes for anyone to approach our table for drinks or ordering. We started the dinner with a specialty salad, but, after those dishes were cleared, we waited for at least 40 MINUTES for our main course to arrive (during that time, nobody approached our table to explain the delay). After 35 minutes, we saw our waiter delivering the main course dinners to guests who arrived much later than we did. I tracked him down to find out what what happening. He said "I'll check." A few minutes later, our dishes arrived. Because we were attending a show, that night, we had to rush through the dinners and certainly had no time for the celebratory dessert we planned. When the server brought the check, I calmly asked, why everything was so delayed and his only response was "Do you want to talk to the manager?" What??? That's an awful response. In my previous reviews, I always commented that Ponte Vecchio's prices were very high, but that the service makes it a worthwhile place to dine. However, with the substandard service and that we had to rush through our meals, the issue of high prices was exacerbated. I assume they've changed their philosophy and systems, so this is no longer a venue I can recommend. I'm sure I can find better Italian Restaurants where $200 offers a better and more relaxing mealDear Philip S, thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback. This is certainly one of the best restaurants in Niagara, It is better than any of the top ten listed in the ratings. Whatever one orders is prepared personally by a skilled person with great training in European cookery. The slections of the day are written on a blackboard, and the choices are sufficient that almost anyone will find something they like. The prices are fair and the places is shining clean. There are often fresh flowers on the table. The place is easy to find by locals, but for tourists it is not quite so easy. for two or more people it is worth taking a cab, and simply naming the place should be sufficient for the driver. The restaurant has parking in the back, and it is near a mall that has a large parking area. When we found this place, we saw it as a real discovery, a chef run place of extraordinary good taste.
