It is part of the Greater Toronto Area of southern Ontario, in Canada. It was formed by the amalgamation of the Township of East Gwillimbury with all the previously incorporated villages and hamlets within the township. The main centres in East Gwillimbury are the villages of Holland Landing, Queensville, Sharon, and Mount Albert. The Civic Centre (municipal offices) are located along Leslie Street in Sharon. The northernmost interchange of Highway 404 is at the North edge of East Gwillimbury, just south of Ravenshoe Road. The hamlets of Holt and Brown Hill are also within town limits.

First time trying this restaurant. Had take-out. Staff very friendly and restaurant looked clean and tidy when arrived to pick-up my order. Close to where I live and a great location for the local Holiday Inn Express guests. We had four different dishes, along with Fried Spring Rolls and the Baby Bok Choy. Main dishes included Fried Udon with Tofu, Fried Udon with Beef, Shanghai Noodles with BBQ Pork, Chicken and Shrimp, as well as Cantonese Chow Mein with Chicken and Vegetables. All the food was delicious and portions were plentiful and fresh. We all enjoyed the food and will definitely be back. A hidden gem of a restaurant :)

Most places in this town are bars with mediocre food. Chen's Chinese food is always consistent and everything I've tried is good! His sweet and sour chicken is the best along with his Singapore noodles and wanton soup. Highly recommend this place over all the others. Large portions and good prices.

We visited Cynthia's Paradise for the second time and were just as impressed as the first time. The food was fresh and arrived quickly at our table. Ordering from the ipad makes it an easy experience. Our server was very attentive. The atmosphere and decor of the restaurant make it very appealing. Next time we are in Newmarket we will definitely return. My only suggestion is if you are a fan of the green dragon roll it does come with mango sauce on it but you can ask for it not to have it (which I prefer).

Typical Cantonese well prepared Chinese food. Not gourmet but above average compared to typical takeout Chinese restaurants. I order often and have never been disappointed. Cannot be compared to the high end gourmet restaurants found in the Greater Toronto area, but not as expensive either. Good value and good food at a reasonable price that a family will like and enjoy.
