Went with 5 other friends/colleagues. We were just in the area and it got great trip advisor reviews so we went for it. Food was good overall, service was an entirely other story. The waitress was quite rude when my friend asked her for a recommendation. We were charged 1.75$ for what was clearly unfiltered tap water. At the end despite being with 6 different people it was all put on one bill which is fine. But we were quite rudely told she doesn't usually have time for this and we should have told her multiple times. There was also an enforced 18% tip added on(which whatever I always tip anyway) but I donât like the principal of it. Overall definitely soured the food experience and I could hear her complaining about us in the background despite us being a pretty tame respectful crowd.

After a game of golf one Sunday afternoon at Lambton Golf Club, I had a sudden craving for lasagna! The wife is always game for pasta herself and a quick google search revealed that Goodfellas was probably the closest open Italian restaurant in the area. On-street parking was readily available about a block away and we were seated in the lounge area as opposed to the restaurant proper. We probably would have preferred the latter, but no worries. We ordered a half carafe of red, she ordered a rigatoni dish and me my lasagna. Italian music was being played on the sound system, appropriately enough, and our food arrived in a timely fashion. Only one small problem... my dish was not quite as warm as I would have liked. Bringing it to our lovely waitresses attention, she whisked it away for what I presumed would be a quick warm-up. My wife continued to dine and just as she was finishing up, my lasagna arrived. Essentially, we dined separately together! This was of no concern at all. Both meals were simply superb and I appreciated the fact that the chef chose to serve me a new plate rather than simply nuke the first one. It was obvious to me that their priority was to serve a perfect meal rather than cut corners. It was our last meal of our three week vacation and apparently we saved the best for last!Thank you for your review and kind words. You are right. The quality of our meals is our concern. We would never cut corners as we have very high standards for the food we serve. We appreciate your understanding of this and do hope you will join us again soon.

Firstly, Warren was outstanding, very amiable and knowledgeable. Secondly, the food was outstanding right from the appetiser to dessert. I had the cowboy rib steak cooked blue, it was wonderful. The atmosphere was just has it should've been for us at least.I would recommend Carey's to any one. We'll be back for sure.
