We popped in for lunch between appointments and were headed to our usual spot Diwa's and then noticed The Nguyen's which I remembered had very good reviews. I'm now not surprised. From the lovely smile at the door, prompt service and very delicious food, we'll be back.

The Bun Bo Hue is tasty and makes me feel like home in Vietnam. The bubble tea is good , you can choose the tea that you refer and many choice of toppings. I love their in-house made tapioca without any preservative, chewy texture and you can even taste the cocoa flavour.

Pho Saigon gave me high hopes due to its sparkling reviews. I love a good bowl of Vietnamese soup, and have visited pho restaurants across Ontario (mainly in the Toronto area) at least 100 times.General: Pho Saigon strikes me as the proverbial unassuming "mom & pop" type of restaurant, with a no-frills interior and typical pho shop layout. It's a good start. No napkins at the tables - only boxes of facial tissues. I haven't seen that one before. The service is fast, with an elderly man bringing dishes out of the kitchen to the tables.Food: I ordered the Shredded Pork Roll and Soup with Dumplings and Sliced Pork. The Pork Roll was a good large portion, though not strong in flavour. I thought the sauce was also lacking in flavour. Nothing about these dishes was 'bad', however they appeared to be geared toward a palate that can't handle the spicy foods. The Soup with Dumplings was a fair size relative to the price. Not big, not small. The broth had a lot of flavour, and was quite good. The dumplings were large in size and quantity, but they were also a disappointment in taste. I did not detect much seasoning at all in the dumplings. The fillings were good both in texture and quantity, but the taste just wasn't there. The sliced pork in the soup was OK, but nothing special. Perhaps this product is again made for a palate that can't take real spice. In conclusion, if you can't take spicy food, this might be a good stop for you. But I find the food is not nearly as tasty as other Toronto-area staples. I'll go elsewhere for my noodle fix.
