This perfect local restaurant serves all the Old Tyme Diner favourites like Eggs Benedict, Club Sandwiches, Liver and onions and spaghetti to name only a few. The tidy smallish restaurant is crowded for breakfast and lunch but the service is invariably fast and friendly. The Daily Grill runs like a fine watch presided over by the owners who watch all the proceedings with an eagle eye. They greet ever diner as they enter and often sit for a minute or two with regulars. Coffee is good and endless ... have tried many of their dishes and never had anything less than excellent. Don't miss their daily home made soup.

We have eaten here numerous times and always been happy with them. Their menu is a little pricey for what you get and since the minimum wage went up in Ontario, it seemed as if their menu prices went up also. Regardless the last time we had dinner there our waitress was not good at all. This made for a very frustrating experience. The food was good but by the time she brought the gravy my meal was cold. Forget about getting more water too! Normally they have good wait staff there so not sure what our waitress's problem was but I don't think we will be back.

Took y grandson there for breakfast this morning. Restaurant is always busy which is a good sign. I was introduced by a friend and so thought I would give it a few chances. Eggs benedict are fine as is the omelette. Staff has been nice. I would rate it a 3 as it is not outstanding but decent food and prices.
