Four of us dropped in for a quick coffee and pastry on a drive by.Our wives sat down at a table while we perused the wonderful looking pastries.Waitress came by in a rush and asked what they wanted. When they said we were at the counter and what was the procedure as this was a first visit she said in a huff "I'll get what you need so what do you want" They ordered 4 coffees and motioned for us to come back and sit down. When the coffee came all four cups had coffee swimming in the saucers and spilled all over the cups. I rose to get a few napkins to sop up the mess and she said under her breath "don't be impatient I'm getting you the cutlery and napkins"!!! At this point I said in a loud voice "you obviously are not happy at your job" and sat down. She came with the cutlery and asked what pastries we wanted and then said some of what we wanted we need to go back to the counter and get! We were there and she said she would get it. We ate our pastries and coffee and left and will NEVER RETURN!By the way the pastries were FANTASTIC!I'm so sorry for your bad experience please try to not let that one person ruin your experience here with us.We do hope you will try our establishment again. We do value our customers. We do try our very best to find great customer service employees but sometimes there are some that don't measure up to our standards. If you could help me pinpoint which waitress this was. I could address this situation more precisely.Again Sorry.
Our server started off by having to recount and bring straws three times because she didn't bring enough the first two times. She brought the kids their french fries and grilled cheese early which normally would be ok, but not when our food was half an hour after that! The kids were done eating and we hadn't gotten our food yet. Then she brought me a western sandwich with coleslaw when I ordered a western omelette with hashbrowns? She also screwed up our friend's order who we were dining with. We let her know we were upset about the kids dinners being out and finished before ours arrived and she said it was the kitchens fault, not hers. Then after all that waiting we had to ask for utensils and instead of handing them over nicely she brought them over and slammed them on the table in a pile and without a word stormed away. We spoke to management after getting our bills and each couple got $5 vouchers for another meal, though I doubt we'll be using them.

Sorry to write this...but I'm still at odds over this place, as I drove past it coming home this afternoon......Three weeks ago, Carl & myself stopped into the Circus Room Diner after a job in Turkey Point.I am, a Hamburger Connoisseur. The quality of a real hamburger in my eyes will speak for the foods in the establishment proper.Carl ordered the Bacon Cheese Burger and a glass of water. (they brought him a bottle of water and charged him for it, and this is not legal in Ontario, look that up yourself) I ordered a simple Cheese Burger. Cost $ 27.00 Now understand, no fires, nothing...... simply two Burgers K ? Oh, and plus tip yet.THE Burger : was not a pure beef patty, but had filler and in MY taste buds, would be margin to a Burger King patty. Or a close second. One person here, Speaking of a Neg for THE Burger Barn ? THE Burger Barn should not even be mentioned here in a Neg form. They would rate WAY WAY higher than Circus Room for sure. In my opinion K ? Geeesssshhhhhh Eh ? But two plain burgers JUST the burgers at $ 27.00 says miles of Neg here. THEN the lack of a pure beef patty would finish the story. So I'm mixed as to what gets me more wound up here, a bad burger taste in my mouth or the stiffing of the $ 27.00 ? Good luck folks, perhaps your location will win for you ?
