Reviews on Chinese food in Wasaga Beach, Ontario, Canada. Home to the longest freshwater beach in the world, Wasaga Beach is a summer tourist destination located just two hours north of Toronto. The white sandy beach stretches more than 14 kilometers (8.7 miles) on Nottawasaga Bay and welcomes more than 2 million visitors every summer. Because of its size, the beach is divided into six smaller beaches, so if you would like to steer clear of tourists and crowds who flock to Beach 1 and 2, make your way to Beaches 4 or 5 for a more private and quiet afternoon. Wasaga Beach is also home to many recreational trails and the Nottawasaga River is good for game fishing, canoeing and boating.

Don't expect an authentic Chinese Cuisine experience here. This is your standard Canadian/Chinese Restaurant you find in Small Towns across Canada. Lots of Soy Sauce in the dishes, especially the Fried Rice. Non-Chinese, American dishes like General Taos Chicken, Chop Suey and Chicken Chow Mein with Crispy Cracker Noodles to name a few, are staples on the Menu. The Owners are very friendly but the dining room is dated, dirty and stale. The food was marginally better.

We love Chinese food but this place is not so good. We ordered honey garlic ribs as part of our meal and we could not eat them. Covered in fat and smelled like licorice we sent them back. We were not charged but donât think weâll be going back any time soon.
