Very nice, indeed. Large dining area for large groups for fish and chips or whatever is on your mind for food. Too many selections to list and service is excellent as well.
My daughter and I recently tried Chako Barbecue in Aurora and loved it. It's definitely not a venue to try when you're in a hurry, but we never felt rushed. The food was excellent, and Yoyo, our waitress, was wonderful, explaining the food choices and making suggestions. She was friendly and accommodating, occasionally checking to see if we needed anything but not hovering. We'll definitely be returning for dinner. The tip was included on the check.

Lovely people running this place. They have the very best hand cut chips in town. I treat myself to the shrimp and chips plate once in a while. Clean and very fair prices.

My wife and I went with another couple on a Saturday night. Despite making reservations for a table by the windows we were given the table two over.. Nobody ended up occupying the window tables by the way.The special of the night was the swordfish. My friend ordered it and he was served a piece no larger than the palm of his hand. I had the Lamb shank.. It was ok but lacked depth of flavour. My wife ordered a salad.. The one wrapped in cucumber and she specifically asked for the dressing on the side. She also ordered the fried calamari. The salad arrived dripping in dressing.. So the waitor took it back... I waited out of respect for my wife.. But it literally took over 20 minutes for that salad to come back.. Geez.. It was just a salad.. It should have come back immediately. Despite the facr that the waiter didn't know anything.. He felt bad when the salad came back. I insisted the couple we were with not let their food go cold while we waited for my wife's salad.. They ate.. And weren't impressed. In any event. The food was not worth the price tag. Nothing else to say.A live band hit the stage around 10pm in the "bar" section of the restaurant. We moved to that side and enjoyed some live tunes. Heck that side looked like a cougar bar.... Nuff said... By 11:30 we were hungry again and decided to leave.. Went to my place where I made a nice spaghetti aiglio ollio...I won't go back. The staff was not knowledgeable, and the kitchen didn't seem focussed. Food was below average for the prices they charge.

Went for fish and chips for dinner. The restaurant is a small very clean retro restaurant. We were greeted by a very nice lady and seated promptly. The first thing I noticed was the salt, pepper and vinegar container were super clean on the table. We ordered the special and it was very good. Not greasy and tasted freshly made. Cooked perfectly. My husband and I agreed it was the best we've had in Aurora. I really liked that the ketchup and sauce were kept in the refrigerator and came to our table clean and cold. We will definitely return to this restaurant for casual dinner of fish and chips in the future. We noticed that several people were regulars there.

Whenever the craving for fish & chips arrive, we're off the Stanley's. Portion sizes are generous. Fish is always cooked to perfection. Love that you can get gravy for the fries and we never go without mushy peas! The staff is always friendly and welcoming. One day we'll try something else on the menu, but its hard the fish & chips are great.

Very nice atmosphere and I felt like I was in little italy with the hostess/server with heavy italian accent. :) Presentation was good, taste was superb, portions superb. House wine (shirez) was surprisingly excellent. The calamari was cooked just perfect which is not easy. veal selection of the day could have used not button mushrooms but morels would have been a better choice. One of us had a seafood dish which was exactly that - a huge dish of seafood with salmon, lobster, calamari (whole) , jumbo shrimp, scallops, small shrimp in the pasta and i think crab. it was huge portions of each and great. All pastas where very good.

A couple of our friends had recommended this restaurant so the hubby and I thought we'd give it a whirl. The service was great - quick and very helpful with going through the menu. The food was amazing and the portions were incredibly generous... which my husband really enjoyed! Fun atmosphere too.

This is usually one of our favorite restaurants. We usually eat here twice during our stay. Unfortunately, this year everything was off- the food and the service. Without question the restaurant needs more staff. Too many big parties with numerous minor changes to menu options, waitstaff serving tables in outside and inside, waitstaff standing around oblivious to the needs of diners. It took forever to get water, bread, cocktails, and our meals weren't great. I hope this restaurant gets back on track.
Where to eat Canadian food in Aurora: The Best Restaurants and Bars

First of all every single thing I've eaten there is ridiculous delicious. The biggest problem with going is I can't decide mussels, (OK, for sure mussels), Brussels (OK, definitely brussels), Paella? (OK must have Paella), and then no chance to try anything else. It's not a 'cheap' restaurant, but the prices are totally reasonable. I'm sure the service was good? I don't really remember much past how good the food is...*Hint: They should do a 'family style dinner for 4' that takes in a few more dishes to help get people past the Paella to some of the other I'm-sure-delicious, items on the menu
