A fusion of a retro public house and a modern beer bar, built around a chef-driven kitchen. Along with our locations in Cambridge, Waterloo, London and Burlington, Beertown Oakville is incredibly excited to share the world of craft beer and darn good food
Checked this out based only on the name and seeing it driving by. Neat place and as the name suggests catering to the beer aficionado! Food good too but a little on pricey side for what it is.

House of Wings specializes in the most authentic, fresh chicken wings and more in Oakville, Ontario. Our wings are fresh and locally grown! As a bonus, our wings are Gluten Free and Halal! We offer over 80 different flavours of wing sauces to choose from!
The House of Wings is a restaurant which is very close to where I stay when visiting Oakville. Itâs a particular favorite for the wings are halal and the offering is quite extensive. We had this time the Buffalo Wings, Speedy Gonzales and Jerk flavors. We liked the wings like always. The server was very nice and we also enjoyed a Leafs vs Detroit pre season game which was on

We went with friends and had a delightful meal. There are multiple choices of meat pies, sandwiches, curries, salads, and many traditional pub dishes to choose from. Lots of great British beer and food dessert options top off the menu. There is enough room but the place still feels like a local pub right out of a British village.Very enjoyable - for a first visit or a fifth visit.

Oh Great News. The Firehall have revised their menu with several excellent Salads, VEGAN Options. Good portions, Fresh Ingredients. So very pleased. Plus their wine and beer selections are very good. The Manager is pleasant and visits each table to ensure all is well. Host/Hostess plus waiters are all pleasant and on the ball. Very much enjoyed the patio, AND THE FOOD. Thanks for the Update Firehall!! Love the Chicken Cobb & Happy Vegan Salads!!

There is no other place like The Moonshine Cafe in Oakville. John has built an institution for purveyors of live music. I love everything that this place stands for - it's all about live music. And John's quality threshold is high. Whether it's Paul Reddick or The Webers or Jerome Godboo or Kevin Breit and Mark Lalama, or others I always have a great time. I had never seen Patrick Ballantyne and The Oh Chays but knew that if they were at Moonshine it would be good and they were great. John's wings are great, the beer and drinks are always good. But what always comes through is the great sound, which you don't expect the first time you go, but John did a lot of acoustic work and it shows. Love the Moonshine!

This is the perfect date night venue with great casual but nice food and solid drinks menu. It's just cool enough to make it clear you're not in a chain restaurant and not so insanely trendy that you can't get in and don't really want anything on the menu. Everything looks and tastes great - not a single disappointment at our table considering atmosphere, food and service. We'll definitely return!

The Kings Arms Oakville is owned and operated by Angelo Triant & Rob O'Donovan. Available at the pub 7 days a week day & night. They are dedicated to providing the highest level of customer service.
I researched a fantastic place for a date night in between Vaughan and Burlington and came up with this as my top contender based on the criterion of: keto options, New Zealand sauv blanc options and amazing homemade pub options. Boy did this deliver. Our server was kind, amazing, hardworking, adorable and willing to trek upstairs multiple times to check the sugar/carb count of the foods I needed. I seriously love her, you guys. The food?? OMG outstanding. This might be the best date night out of HUNDREDS of different venues Iâve had. Iâm excited for anyone who tries this for the first time. The. Best.

Beyond the slowest and most pathetic service I have ever encountered. Saturday night and the establishment is well beyond capacity (cc: Oakville fire Marshall), yet there are two servers working the bar. Thus far we waited 12 minutes standing at the bar to be served our drink in a kid's menu cup. If I owned this place, I would walk far from the restaurant buisness and take up something more suited to my speed, such as knitting.

Tin Cup is the original upscale sports bar. Join us for great food 7 days a week, and live music every Saturday night.
My honey and I were looking for good salad options and this was a great choice. There were 8 good salad options and the 2 we chose were delicious. We had the calamari duo (grilled and battered) as well and it was delicious also. Very nice spot for a good meal in a pub atmosphere. We'll definitely go again

I met my sonâs family for a pre-holiday lunch (a customary half way between his GTA and our Niagara home). He chose this place based on favourable TripAdvisor reviews.Based on the strange name for the restaurant, I was not expecting much. Turned out I was in for a pleasant surprise. A comfortable and cozy, warm (very warm) neighbourhood restaurant.Service was quick and friendly and the food was well prepared upscale bar food. Lots of choices, even for our picky grandkids, and the food came out quickly and well presented. Even though there were six of us for a brunch Sunday, there was no pressure to hurry up and leave. Prices are not low but rather close to the GTA average for this type of bar/restaurant.All in all a good find and we will likely return. About the only slight complaint is that the restaurant faces west and if you are seated by the window, it becomes very hot and glary, even on a cold day - might consider installing blinds for such days.
