I went to the one in Peterborough....but that's not listed in TripAdvisor so I thought I'd post it here. It's downtown.....very convenient location for a quick lunch. I was impressed with all the different ingredients you could put on it......and they seemed fresh. But it still is 'fast food'......the ground beef which I had on mine was nothing special, and neither was the tortilla. $10 seemed a bit expensive for a small burrito. But it made a good lunch, and I was satisfied. Not a place I would seek out, but would go again if it was convenient. Interesting atmosphere.......I don't know if all the Jimmy Guaco's are like that......a long corridor. Felt spacious, though.
We've only had take out pork and chicken souvlaki, but they were very tasty. They also say if you don't see something on our menu ask us and we will make it for you. We will definitely be ordering from Snuffy's Grill again.

It is with great sadness that I write this review. On Easter Friday, the historic buildings of downtown Whitby caught fire. Many businesses were lost, and a couple of buildings have to be demolished. This includes one of my favourite restaurants, The Pita Pit.Although my last meal there was in late March (and it was delicious), I will miss the Pita Pit.I'm sure that many people who walked through the doors had a wonderful meal.Thank you to everyone at the Pita Pit that made every visit an enjoyable one.

With over 20 years of experience in the pizza industry, we have now set our goals on establishing an authentic pizzeria within the Durham Region, specifically Whitby. You wont be disappointed!
Couldn't bear the thought of chain store pizza, found this little gem in old Whitby. Classic style pizza with decent crust. Good value, an 18" fed four of us for $23 all in. Give them a try!

My wife and I decided to try Firehouse Subs for lunch on a Saturday while out running errands. We were immediately greeted by friendly staff who told us about their featured subs, which toppings are standard etc. which was very helpful as we had never eaten there before. I ordered the meatball sub and my wife had the sub on a club. Both sandwiches were delicious! Its a bit more expensive than Subway but well worth the difference in quality. We were very pleased and will definitely eat there again.

Remember the burgers you used to get as a kid at the local burger joint? This is that kind of place. Not industrial Mc-burgers, not high priced boutique burgers. Big, juicy, simply made beef burgers with generous portions, old school chunky fries and friendly staff. Nothing phoney, nothing pretentious, just good food at a reasonable price. You should go if you love a good burger.

Very nice spot for relatively inexpensive lunch. Great deli sandwiches and hot soup etc. The place is busy and there are a few tables to eat at but the quality is very good. It is not a spot to sit and have a beer with your meal but rather an in and out shop or quick lunch spot. Deli meats are a speciality or the snitzel sandwich is a great deal.

I did stop by this place while running around one night and had a craving for a burger so I gave it a try. The server was quite friendly and I did like the interior and the theme they were going for. The prices were o.k and the menu was decent. The burger itself was good but nothing great just a typical Harvey's style frozen patty grilled up and masked with pickles and various toppings. Don't get me wrong it was good but in this day and age of so many other great burger places like Baldwin Street Burger etc Pete's for me is just average.

You can see from the other reviews that this place is great. Friendly and quick service (even though you always have to wait in a line, they move the line quick). But it's the sandwich that is top notch.Just don't come here if you just want a small bite to eat...come hungry...the pitas are huge so either share with a friend or be ready to have a big lunch...but well worth it. My goto is the Chicken Garlic and I love it...but I've had lots of stuff on the menu and it's all good.
